Travel agency: Дельта Тревел (Kyiv) Service type: экскурсионный тур |
We went from Delta Travel on a bus tour to Greece. All good impressions are only from Greece itself and the work of the host. As for the work of escorts and drivers, it was terrible. We had two escorts (I don’t know why they were given two, we always went on other tours with one.) Since the two escorts were not bad without us, they closed themselves in a separate room at the back of the bus and got high there, bought and drank champagne, godlessly smoked all the time and everyone had fun. Almost all the way the tourists were left to themselves, they constantly had to get up and go to the escorts, tear them away from their rest and ask them to solve some issues: the air conditioner did not work, the DVD was constantly hanging, the sound either disappeared or amplified by itself. Then on when stopping for the toilet, they were either generally silent about the time of the stop, or if it was appointed, absolutely no one monitored the observance of this time, for example, the stop was said to be 15 minutes. half an hour passes, someone else is in the store, and the drivers and accompanying people go somewhere, because of this attitude, we were always and everywhere late, and when we arrived at hotels and on excursions, there was no organization and management of the group, they was on figs, everything is somehow with the flow. At the Greek customs, they did not want to let us through, because the drivers lost some documents for the bus, because of this we were marinated for almost 3 hours in a terrible heat. Having traveled a long way (2 days of road behind us), we could not get to the hotel because our bus broke right in Thessaloniki. There are 20 km left. to the hotel, and we are exhausted and tired sitting in an unbearably stuffy bus, the air conditioners did not work either back or forth, although they somehow tried to fix them. The Greeks met us well, rushed in cars, a minibus and took everyone to the hotels, in the end we arrived at the hotel not at 19:00, as indicated on the tour, but only at one in the morning. On the way back, it’s a fairy tale, the drivers were so affected by Greece that they completely forgot the way back, we couldn’t get to the right highway near Thessaloniki, first we drove into the city, returned, drove along some highway, after 25 km. she didn’t understand, they returned, so we lost 1.5 hours, and were still near Thessaloniki. And so it was all the way, and in Bulgaria, and in Romania we drove somewhere at random, then a U-turn on the highway through a continuous one, back and again not there, it was just a shock, considering that our travel time is 36 hours anyway, and then there were these shy guys and men who all together helped the drivers to somehow taxi to the right place. I have never seen anything like this in any other bus tour, of which there have been many in my life.
We drove through beautiful places and cities, if only to hear a word from the escort that we were passing, where to look, to see something interesting. Somehow we drove into a big city in Bulgaria, we were driving, we were looking at everything beautifully, everything was from each other "What kind of city?quot;, So some of the tourists said that this is Sofia, the capital of the country, but no one said a word to us, it was the same with Bucharest, they themselves somehow recognized what kind of area, but if we had an experienced escort with us, we could hear a lot of interesting things about the places where we passed, because this is what distinguishes a bus tour from an air one, which you can see and pick up a lot more moving on the ground. Whatever it is, we drove in complete silence, not a word, not a sound.
Since the air conditioner worked poorly, one might say it didn’t work, and the huge windows of the bus were without curtains, the tourists covered the windows from the scorching sun with what was at hand - and these were blankets, pareos, clothes, with all these attributes, our bus and we looked like wandering gypsies in their tent. Oh ho ho...
There is another story at the Moldovan border, we drove there in the morning, everyone got off the bus and asked the drivers if we could go to Duty Free, they say go, because there is a shift change at customs. Everyone rushed to Duty Free (very low prices), we got this from the customs officers for this, for the first time I saw people in uniform screaming like that, they threatened not to let us out, that we would remember this border for life, they were going to do a full inspection of things , they were not allowed to use the toilet, but only strictly in pairs, the entire customs looked at us as criminals and we hung on it for 2.5 hours. And all this from disorganization, the head of the group did not follow the people in any way, because all this could have been prevented. When the drivers and the accompanying person passed the Ukrainian customs, they generally relaxed, there were stops and toilets, every half an hour, and the people on the bus for the most part were not Kievans, but from different regions of Ukraine and everyone has train tickets in their hands or a transfer to a bus, everyone is on their nerves, they are afraid not to be in time and spend the night at the station. The peak of everything was the third bus stop after 20 minutes. way, the drivers and the escort jam the bus and go together across the road to the restaurant, no one says a word to us. And then all the tourists take off from their seats and run after them to this place, that screams, and screams and requests and tears, threats and all that, the drivers simply condescended to swearing. I don’t know what the restaurant’s visitors thought of us, but they looked at us dumbfounded. In the end, there was no stop, we still went and stopped very little until Kyiv itself, we arrived at the station just right next to the train, so if we hadn’t rushed, we would have spent the night on the plastic chairs of the station. This was our trip, after it I I swore off going on bus tours, despite my fear of airplanes, but it's still faster there. and even more so to travel somewhere with DELTA-TRAVEL. This is the worst travel company on my list.
