"Delta Travel" and "Sea": scam and rudeness.

I will write my review about the agencies "Delta Travel" and "Sea". The director of both is Koba Elena. I have never seen such a boorish attitude towards a client and arrogant ripping off money.

So, tour Kenya + about. Zanzibar 29.04-10.05.2012 It was originally planned that Koba Elena herself would go as the leader of the group. But at the airport, she introduced her husband, Dmitry Golovatyuk, as the head of the group, saying that all questions were for him. She herself went to Egypt.

On vacation in Kenya, D. Golovatyuk approached each tourist and offered to pay an additional 350 dollars. for 5 nights to change the hotel of residence in Zanzibar from 3 * to 5 *, explaining that a 3 * hotel in Zanzibar is very modest. Of the 25 people in the group, 12 paid extra $350 each, 13 did not.

Upon arrival late in the evening in Zanzibar, we agreed that tomorrow at 10 am a bus would arrive at the hotel for an excursion. The group split up accordingly. 13 people, i.e. most of the group, which decided not to change the program and live in 3 *, was brought to the hotel. Upon settlement, it turned out that:

1) no one was waiting for the group;

2) the 3 * hotel turned out to be a simple guest house, i.e. not even a hotel in which no one rested at all and which works only in winter - it accepts either climbers or someone else;

3) the beach was absent by definition - after low tide to the water - at least a kilometer, and the bottom is covered with sea urchins;

4) but the most egregious thing is the numbers! They have only a joint narrow double bed with a common bedspread, no air conditioning, no armchairs and stools ...

The vast majority of tourists traveled alone, without a partner. Obviously, no one wanted to sleep together under one sheet on a narrow bed, especially men. There was a riot in the group! Calls to D. Golovatyuk did not give any result! Elena Koba did not pick up the phone at all (!!!). And this is the director and the person who was supposed to be the leader of the group. As a result, some of the group spent the night on the street, in armchairs in a restaurant!!! As a result, in the morning, the exposed parts of the body were completely bitten by mosquitoes or some other insects. And this is in a malaria-unsafe place during the rainy season!!! How this will affect their health in the future is still the question ...

The next day there was no bus at 10 am, and D. Golovatyuk arrived even later. Dima offered to pay extra, like the other part of the group, to stay in a 5 * hotel, but the group refused. The group put forward a demand to put her in a 3 * hotel, for which it was paid back in Kyiv.

After lengthy negotiations, communication with the host, 4 people from the group, Dima and representatives of the host went to see the 3 * hotel. They liked the hotel and the group agreed to move, but Dima immediately said that for this hotel you need to pay an additional 158 dollars. The group flatly refused, saying that they had paid for the 3* hotel back in Kyiv.

Rooms in 3 * cost 65 dollars and 75 dollars. As we later found out from another part of the group, their 5 * hotel was not much different from the one in which we lived (3 *), except for food. But along the beach - so at 5 * at low tide it took a very long time to get to it. In any case, the difference between 3 * and 5 * hotels (if it is appropriate to apply such a classification there), well, a maximum of 15-20 dollars. That is, the agency took from that part of the group that lived in a 5 * hotel for 5 nights a double payment - in Kyiv and in Zanzibar, instead of paying the difference!!!

Apparently due to the fact that Dima did not manage to make money on accommodation at the hotel, he decided to at least somehow compensate for the excursions. Excursion to "safari blue", which a group of 5 * found for 40 dollars, Dima tel. offered a group of 3 * already for 50 dollars! two excursions, which were offered by the agency in the prospectus for $55 each, the 3 * group took on their own for $13 and $19!!! There is a difference: 55 dollars and 13 dollars???

In general, neither I, nor my friends, nor with Delta Travel and More, nor with Elena Koba and her husband Dmitry Golovatyuk, will have any more business. Unless I accidentally buy their tour through another agency ...

I was so shocked by the attitude towards the client in these companies that I had to write such a long review. Maybe it will help someone in choosing a company in the future.
