terrible company

We rested on Koh Chang (a wonderful place, I advise!) 8 nights, after the island we had to move to Pattaya for 2 nights, when transported by ferry from the island, as we guessed later, the sayama company driver cleared our wallets (we already saw this in the hotel when you want to change currency). On the ferry, the driver asked to leave the minibus and go up to the second floor of the ferry due to safety measures and at this time he cleaned our bags and put everything back neatly. after the ferry, literally after 200 meters, he stopped at some building and left saying that he needed to clarify where to take us (I think he just dumped the money). After the ferry to the hotel itself, we did not leave our things unattended, and in the hotel itself, my wife and I and our friends discovered the loss of money. We immediately made a call to the hotline of the company in Thailand and the tour operator home and told about what had happened. The tour operator Sayama was told to write a statement and describe the details of what happened.. We did what they asked, when asked if it was necessary to report the incident to the police, they replied: (in no case we will conduct an investigation ourselves and give you an answer tomorrow). Without waiting for an answer, we made a call again, to which we were answered: (return home from Thailand and give a request to the company's email address and you will receive an answer within 2-3 days). Upon arrival home, we gave a request to the company's email but there was no answer, then I made a call to the travel company and they told me the following: police for better investigation). Some kind of nonsense they say not to go to the police, then it turns out it was necessary, and why is it physically impossible to reach the luggage? place as there was his passenger seat. I think the travel agency was waiting for us to leave Thailand and we simply cannot prove anything or do anything at home. So, dear vacationers, always be careful on vacation and when choosing a travel agency. What I also didn’t like about the work of this travel agency is when your guides, after the tour, bring cosmetics, latex, leather products to a lecture in Russian or Ukrainian stores, and they almost drive you by the hand so that you buy something at inflated prices of 4-5 once. To the guide’s question: (where can I buy a normal tourist map and what sights are interesting to see for ourselves without ordering an excursion), to which he rudely replied that: (the maps here are the same as they gave us without designations, and as for excursions, if you our travel agency, I won’t help with anything), although before that we ordered 2 excursions from him. I later convinced myself that they mainly offer excursions where the Russians themselves run the show. All the same, who will go to Thailand (I highly advise) just go to the islands because the water is much cleaner and the guests are closer to the sea and in my opinion nature is more beautiful and exotic. And more about a normal tourist map, you can ask a taxi driver or tuk-tuk driver, and showing an interesting place or attraction on the map, he will take you there much cheaper than a tour guide.
