I have been traveling abroad for over 10 years with various tour operators. And I fly and buy bus tours. Therefore, I am calm about force majeure and various overlays.
The "Pages of the Bible" tour was declared a pilgrimage. I know from the experience of my friends that there is little comfort in such tours, so I was preparing for everything. But...
The tour turned out to be purely sightseeing. There were not so many believers, mostly people who went for new experiences. And we got them. Personally, I liked everything in the organization of the tour. The program of the tour was followed almost 100%, we saw what was announced. Many thanks to the guide from Israel - Alexandra (I do not remember her name, sorry), a very erudite person and in addition to what she said about the program, we still learned a lot besides the program.
The bus was very comfortable, air-conditioned, and the driver Mustafa was not only an ace in his business, but also a very friendly person. I also thank him.
As for hotels - we lived 4 days in Palestine - Nativity Bell Hotel and a night in Tiberias - Prima Too Hotel. Both are stated as threes. That is true. Breakfasts and dinners at the Palestinian hotel were the same, but delicious; and in the second hotel - very diverse and also delicious. In order to spend the night and eat - the hotels responded to the stated. I can not understand those tourists who go on an economy tour and require amenities at the level of 5+.
The program of the tour was rich and very informative. The priest was a Greek Catholic; mass (or service, I do not know about it) he served once; Since the group was not very religious, we did not insist anymore :). From the stories of pilgrims from other groups, we learned that their priests forbade them to visit the Dead Sea, the Wailing Wall and other places. Our priest was tolerant of our wishes :)
Were also on the Dead Sea, bathed and healed :)
The general impression is only positive.
Went for the first time with "Gal Cruise", while everything is fine.
If other members of the group have a different opinion - I'm sorry. I have only a positive from the organization of the tour. And from the group itself - too.
