Travel agency: Гал-Круиз (Lviv) Service type: экскурсионный тур |
This week I returned from a trip with a Gal Cruise to Krakow. I have not yet encountered the worst organization of the tour.
The program provided by the travel agency eloquently promised an interesting trip. However, the first disappointment happened at the station where the tour started - instead of the promised comfortable Euroclass bus, tourists were "stuffed" into a minibus, which was not properly heated throughout the trip.
Ignoring the work of the group leader - Yuri, his main functions, as it turned out, were to be present in the front seat. This was the only thing the group leader was capable of. The driver was more useful.
All attempts to orientate themselves in the program of the trip or to solve at least some of the issues that should be solved by any normal group leader of any normal, self-respecting (not to mention respect for tourists) tour operator, ended with the answer: "I you I understand, but I didn't invent it all "," It's not up to me ". Another important task that our leader managed to do was to try to accommodate tourists in a minibus at the request of the Gal Cruise. Yura carefully unfolded the papers with the numbers of places where the tour operator with mistakes wished us a pleasant trip. The paper with errors became "prophetic". Because the whole trip turned out to be a complete mistake.
Our "mini-Euro-class" is already approaching the border, as it turned out that the group leader does not have a passport of one of the tourists (passports throughout the trip were with the group leader). After long calls and two years of waiting, the document found its owner, and we crossed the border.
Check-in at the hotel also brought little pleasure. Instead of the promised hotel in Krakow, we were accommodated in a motel 10 km from the city.
Saturday promised us "Arrival in the unique Krakow, sightseeing tour of the city ...". The Polish guide more or less coped with the task.
After a "busy tour" in the tour program, the operator recommended visiting one of the largest water parks in Europe. This was not even mentioned. Due to the fact that visiting the water park was optional, we had to forget about it.
On Sunday, the program of the tour included "MANDATORY !!! Excursion to the most famous salt mines in the world - the Wieliczka mines". I had to fight for her. As two people wanted to go on the "obligatory" tour, we had to walk to the mines and go down to the mines with a Polish group.
In order not to repeat with Bohdan the topic of the lack of relevant agreements on the provision of services, the storage of documents proving the identity of the tourist, the group leader, etc., only confirm these facts.
These and a number of other unpleasant predictions from "work" (in quotes, because it is difficult to call it work) tour operator are forced to summarize: a trip with the "Gal Cruise" - money wasted, spoiled nerves and hours.
