NEW YEAR HORROR IN THE CARPATHIANS

Day 1. It all started in Mukachevo, where the breakfast promised at 11 am was organized only at 2 pm, and then, after the group arrived at the restaurant, we had to wait another half hour for the tables to be served. Then a trip to the center, where we were told about the history of the city in brief for 30 minutes, and then they let us go in peace for another hour to drink Viennese coffee. Then a long drive to wretched Khust and check-in at the Harvest hotel, where cleaning was reduced to smearing dirt. They didn’t even hear about the need to wash door handles and switches, and the smelly bathroom is separated from the room by a plastic door, or a curtain.

Day 2. A long transfer to Pylypets, accompanied by the guide's story “I sing what I see”: apples, pears, plums are grown here ... there are carps, silver carps ... no history, no legends of Transcarpathia. Next, a walk to the Shypit waterfall, the remaining two hours we organized our pastime ourselves. A long and tedious trip back to the "beloved" Khust.

Day 3. The only joy for the whole tour was an excursion to the Khust castle, which was conducted by a local guide, a man who knows and loves his job.

Day 4. Trip to Berehove. We never got to the advertised bathing in the thermal spring, it turned out that you can get there only in a live queue, and the queue turned out to be quite large and aggressive. In life, I will not believe that it is impossible to organize “paid entrance out of turn” in our country. Further wine tasting: a small cellar, an interesting lecture about wine, and just excellent wine. And again on the bus for 1.5 hours to Mukachevo.
