Good, because it's a dream! And here she is, curled up in a warm ball in your pocket!
But it’s bad ... Well, now we must dream of a new one.)))
My friend and I decided to hit the autumn blues with a car race and went to Krakow for the weekend.
The weather was autumn (no one surprised? Strange...) Fog, and at the end of the second day it started to rain, but so delicate that neither clothes nor shoes got wet. Fine!
The hotel was somewhere far away, but tolerable. The bus is right next to the hotel, 20 minutes to the historical center - and go!
In the morning we went on a tour of the Royal Road, the guide Barbara was very pleasant, sweet, spoke with a charming Polish accent, which I just adore, spoke interestingly and not boringly. The best impressions!
Krakow is a very beautiful city - a banal fact that will not cease to be from its beatenness. Very beautiful! We just walked along the streets, turned at crossroads, went into almost every church on the way. Oh, Krakow churches ... There are many of them, they are all - ALL! - different, each one certainly has its own beautiful zest - in St. Mary's Church there is a magnificent altar, and every hour "heinal" sounds from the tower - a trumpeter's signal, in memory of a historical fact, in the Franciscan church there is a stunning stained-glass window "God the Father" and Wyspiański's lovely dandelions , in some cathedral - amazing stucco, and in the church of the Dominicans - the singing of monks at the evening service that simply takes you up under the Gothic vaults, in the church of the Body of God - incredible woodcarving.
Incredible.
The Wawel dragon breathes fire, in the squares the traditional filling of such historical cities of Europe is pigeons and tourists.)))
The restaurants are very cozy, the waiters are just very cordial, the dishes are delicious - well, just a holiday!
