Hello! Just returned from the tour "Hug Paris" 13/10/12-20/10/12. While emotions and memories are fresh, I want to write a few words about the trip and the leader of the group, Serezha Kolesnik. I hope this will help tourists who are just about to discover "bus tours". Honestly, I myself shoveled a lot of reviews and forums before the trip, and received a lot of useful information for myself. For a long time I doubted which tour operator to give preference to, and as a result I chose Algol (the choice was between Accord and Algol, I chose the latter only because of the convenience of the departure date). I have nothing to compare with, it was my first bus tour in Europe, but I liked it - the bus is comfortable, the hotels are at the level (I was especially pleased in Cologne), the breakfasts are excellent (in Paris it is more modest, in Germany it’s super, but there was always enough for everyone), The bus drivers are very positive and helpful.

I would like to say special thanks to the head of the group - Sergey. I traveled by myself and really wanted the group to be youth. But as always happens in life, what you are most afraid of is what you get - from the whole group of 21 people - grandmothers from Kherson (60-70 years old) !!! You can compose jokes about this trip on the topic "How we went to Paris with our grandmothers")))))) BUT, half the success on the trip is the leader of the group. We are lucky with this! Sergei is a great professional, knows a lot, tells AWESOME, you can listen and listen to him ...... (many guides were much inferior to Serezha during the program, especially the girl in Versailles, but this is a separate topic), and he has an answer to any question (I checked :))))), this could not but rejoice.

Our group was a serious test and an exam for Sergei for tolerance and restraint, which he passed with EXCELLENT (it's no joke to lose a grandmother in the Paris metro, who does not have a mobile phone and, as it turned out, even the name of our hotel with her). You can say a lot of good words about Sergey, keep it up!!!! A few tips for tourists - try to prepare for the trip in an informative way (read before the trip about the cities where you are planning excursions, then it will be easier for you to navigate the place in your free time, and not walk in bewilderment along one street for half a day). If you speak the language, then feel free to go to the Louvre yourself (the elective that tour operators offer 1.5 hours is VERY VERY short! You need at least a day to visit the Louvre!).

I also recommend going to Versailles yourself, and be sure to visit the exhibitions of thrones and carriages, which no one remembers anywhere, but they are (again, information from Sergey)! In general, if possible, walk more and see for yourself, fewer electives (for the money it is twice as expensive and very little information), the Eiffel Tower - go yourself and go on foot (5 euros) - it's not as difficult as it seems, and very impressive! Fragonard - don't take it, it's better to spend 10 euros on souvenirs or French cheese. Be sure to go to Notre Dame Cathedral - it's something!!! There is such energy there, I was covered to tears.......... In Dresden, go to the evening service in the church (beginning at 18.00 lasts until 19.00), the service itself and the sound of the organ are impressive. And I recommend traveling with Serezha! Thank him very much!

P.S. I suppose that in our group there are people whose reviews will be just on the contrary mine, but to each his own :)))
