I am posting a review on your site, because it was deleted on the Accord Tour site. I just want to add that I will not go anywhere else with Accord, every year their attitude towards customers is getting worse and worse. In this review, I tried to write in a literary language, but I really wanted to swear. Neither the drivers nor the guide Alexander I liked, and not only me but all 26 tourists. You know, it already means something. I have not yet written that we left Lviv late, the hotel in Bulgaria was terrible and much more. Below is my review posted on the Accord Tour website:
"Hello everyone! Especially flight 131! The tour is interesting, very intense. But ... I rate the work of the tour organizer at 3, because it turned out that the drivers did not know the route at all, they generally went on flights to Paris, the accompanying guide also never I didn’t go to Istanbul, she was there with groups only on sightseeing tours and didn’t know the route either.
The drivers and the guide did not work well together, and in general the drivers did not behave like a gentleman with the guide. In Bulgaria, we were transported by such terrible roads, this is not like partisan paths, these are some kind of "chagars". The declared program was completely reshuffled (all excursions were changed), on the first day in Istanbul, those who wished did not get into the hammam, because. we wandered for two hours in Istanbul, created a big traffic jam, and only after we took a taxi that took us to the hotel, we got to it, it was too late. We independently went to watch the evening Istanbul. This is something, it is impossible to describe the beauty of Hai Sophia and the Blue Mosque. And the photos still do not convey what we saw. The hotel in Istanbul was located near the center, which, of course, pleased. Close to metro station and tram stop.
About guides. Guide in Bucharest (Irina) - super, told very interesting, it is clear that she is in love with her work, with her city.
The guide to Veliko Tarnovo (Ivan) - he seemed to tell not badly, but listening to his monotonous and quiet voice, I wanted to lie down on the couch and sleep.
The guide in Istanbul (I don’t remember his name, he jokingly called himself Bill Gates) also spoke very interestingly and fascinatingly about Turkey.
I can’t say anything about a guide to castles in Romania, because I was not on these excursions. But those who were, were not very satisfied.
On excursions.
Bucharest - very little time, 2 hours overview.
Bulgaria - Veliko Tarnovo - too little time, the village of Abanassi - I think that it is not needed at all, it is better to spend more time in Veliko Tarnovo, the town is very nice and beautiful.
I was in the Blue Mosque - a good excursion, in Dolmabahce Castle - also interesting, but it seemed to me that there was little time, after all, when you go on excursions on your own, you see more and are not in a hurry.
And so they ran at a gallop across Europe and ran further - to another excursion. Tour Turkish night - not bad, I liked the belly dance, folk dances are not impressed, more and more convinced that our folk dances are much more interesting.
Peles castles and Dracula's castle - I was not on excursions, but those who were said that everything was running and running. And there was something to see, especially many were impressed by the Peles castle.
A few tips for tourists: getting around Istanbul is very easy. All the main attractions are located in the area of Sultanahmet, Chamberlitash, Gulhane, you can get there by tram, very convenient. The fare costs 3 lira, tokens are sold in vending machines, it's not difficult to figure it out. Therefore, we ended up in many places where we did not have excursions.
We were in Little Sophia (you can get to it by leaving the back exit of the Blue Mosque), we were in Suleymaniya (located near Bayazit station, (but I'm not entirely sure) (it's a pity that the cemetery is closed for restoration), but the mosque itself is beautiful. We were in Chamberlitash Hamam, it is located at the tram station of the same name, there is also a column of Constantine, we were in the Nurosmania mosque, in the Rustem Pasha mosque (by the way, we really liked it) - it is located near the Egyptian market at the Eminenu tram station. only on the other hand, there is a pier, you can ride a boat on the Bosphorus, there are many fish restaurants and we ate delicious fish there. ... We were also in the Basilica cistern, it is located across the street near the Hagia Sophia, we ourselves were in the Hagia Sophia.Don't be afraid of the long line near the Hagia Sophia, it moves quite quickly.
In short, read the reviews of tourists, download audio guides - and you can safely walk around this beautiful city yourself. I want to return to Istanbul again and again, this city beckons, it takes you prisoner.
Thank you very much for the hotel in Brasov - Vila Crocus, it's something, but how tasty they cook there. Breakfast at this hotel is simply amazing.
I would especially like to say hello to all our tourists of flight No. 131, we became very good friends, went on excursions together, talked, took pictures, celebrated a birthday (hello Alla), sat in restaurants and endured all the hardships of this difficult flight. Apparently, the hardships of the flight made us friends, the company was cheerful and friendly :)
Therefore, dear tourists, if you are not afraid of a long road, partisan paths, Ukrainian roads repaired for 95 miles, you can go almost a day without food, stand in line for 30-40 minutes in a toilet queue, choose: either an excursion or lunch/toilet , running to explore European cities - this tour is for you.
I am an optimist by nature, I have been going to the Accord Tour for 5 years, but the organization of this tour just killed me, I don’t want to use unliterary language. I have never had such a terrible trip. Dear tour organizers, I ask you to pay great attention to your staff: drivers, guides, and if you send them on a tour, provide them with maps, routes and all the necessary information. And an even bigger request to the developers of the tour: pay attention to the fact that tourists do not spend a lot of time on the road, book some kind of transit hotel (even if it is as crappy as we had in the village.
Dryanovo, let it be a little more expensive, but we want to feel like people.
In general, despite all the troubles, the tour is very interesting, the main thing is to treat everything with irony and take a good mood with you on the tour."
