After last year's trip with Accordtour, I vowed not to use their services again. But a year later, she relented and, bribed by a low price, decided to give them another chance in the hope that our last year's misadventures were the exception, not the rule. In April, I ordered the tour "Our summer pier ... Italy: Adriatic coast", in the program of the tour, in the promotional video clip and in the reviews for it, the city of "Lido di Jesolo", located 46 km from Venice, repeatedly appeared. Considering that last year I came to the conclusion that the Accordian excursions were not worth the money, and I wanted to get to Venice, I decided that from the Lido I could easily get there on my own, and there is something to see in the Lido itself.

In the city itself, you can visit the ruins of the ancient medieval tower Torre del Caligo, Laguna del Mort, the beach of which is included in the top 10 best beaches in the country according to the Italian Conservation League, the Antike Mura archaeological zone located just 2 km from the center of Lido di Jesolo . Another protected park, a landmark of the resort, located not far from the center of Lido di Jesolo, is the Valle lagoon. This was my only reason for choosing this tour.

What was my surprise when, 4 days before departure, I received an info sheet with the hotels of our accommodation, in which there was not Lido di Jesolo, but Lignano Sabbiadoro (in which there is not a single historical or natural attraction - only parks and cafeterias)! And relative to Venice, it is in a different area (106 km from Venice instead of 46). For all my indignations, the chord tour sent me to the agency (i.e.

they didn’t even give any explanations), and the agency shrugged that the claims were not against them, but against the chord. To refuse the tour simply meant giving 100% of its value to these deceivers or suing them, because. in Art. 20 of the Law of Ukraine on tourism says "The tour operator (travel agent) did not sign the contract after one day from the day, if it became known to you about the change of the situation, which the parties agreed on when laying down the contract for tourist services, he did not sign the contract three days before on the cob of the tourist price is more expensive to inform the tourist about such a change in the situation with the method of entitlement to the possibility of violating the contract without paying a fee to the tour operator (travel agent) or to make changes to the contract, changing the price of tourist services ( https://zakon.rada.gov.ua. show/324/95-%D0%B2%D1%80)". But to my direct question "Can I cancel the tour?quot;

I can not go, but the money will not be returned to me a penny. That is, with its "100% fines" Accordtour breaks the law! But the trial took time, money for a lawyer and patience ... and by the end of the trial, the vacation would have ended ...

I had to "take what they give" and change my detailed plans on the go.

Well, departure day. Transfer to Terminal A. They advertised that you can comfortably wait for your flight and have breakfast ... I advise future tourists not to count on this. Crowds of people scurry around like in an anthill. All tables are occupied by waiting tourists (most of them are not eating anything, but the tables are occupied). You can buy food, but there is nowhere to eat it.

The departure happened on time, unlike last year, when our flight was delayed by an hour (!).

We made several sanitary stops along the way. The last place to eat was in front of the Hungarian border.

Just before the border there was duty free, where you could buy chocolate, alcohol and chips (at about noon). After standing for 7.5 hours between the borders of Ukraine and Hungary, where it is already impossible to buy anything, we went on a boat trip in Budapest. Sanitary stop at wild camping. There is no cafe, no shop, one cubicle for the toilet. 52 people. The escort of the group is in such a hurry to put thirty of them on the boat that she offers to go to the toilet in the bushes behind the equipped toilet in order to have time to get there: "I'll watch you, no one will see." After 7.5 hours at the border, after 18 hours on the road, at 23:05 (00:05 Ukrainian time) we rush on an excursion. Part of the group, which did not plan to go on this excursion, already really wants to go to the hotel, but this part of the people is not interested in Accordtour. We drive up to the Danube embankment, the escort jumps out of the bus, says "Budapest - straight ahead" and runs away to the boat.

Night in the yard, half of the group in an unfamiliar city is left to wait for the rest from the tour without any landmarks. (For comparison, a girl on our last tour and such a group of people suggested how to get somewhere on her own and see something; where is the grocery store and not only the store; where are the free toilets and so on - ours didn’t care. She only dealt with those who paid extra for excursions).

Returning from the boat, she said that it was 3 km to the hotel ... These 3 km we circled the city in circles for about half an hour, going around the same block and returning to the starting place until we found our hotel. Tour "without night crossings", 00:40 (Ukrainian time 01:40) we are still going to the hotel. Yes, in 30 minutes you could walk to that hotel! And to find the way on the navigator ... I don’t know if the drivers got lost, or our guide got lost, but the fact remains.

At the hotel, we find that the shower door is broken.

Somehow we put it back into place on our own, because according to the experience of last year, where the toilet bowl was broken, there are no other free rooms, and they can only call someone to repair it in the morning. Last year, we were offered to use the toilet at the reception, on the first floor (and our room was on the 7th floor) - convenient ...

Day 2. We are going to Italy. Leaving Hungary, our guide said a few words about this country. This is where the information about the cities and countries through which the tour passed ended. If last year the girl turned on films about the history, culture and other features of countries on the way to these countries and handed out printouts with several phrases in the language of each country, then on this tour there was only a tour program and a list of recommended souvenirs from the information.

On the way, we learn that part of the group is being accommodated in another hotel. those. Even if you are already on tour, you don't know exactly where you are going.

Unfortunately, I do not know how the conditions in the rooms and breakfasts in these two hotels differed, but one was at 300m. closer to the sea, and the second one had a swimming pool, which the first one did not have (By the way, the hotel is in a seaside resort 1.3 km from the sea. How do you like it?) I.e. no matter how they are not the same... Rooms... hmm... a separate conversation. They settled on the upper floors, where the ceilings were sloping down. And in the toilet, for example, above the toilet, the ceiling height was less than 1.5 meters. You also hit your head against the ceiling trying to plug the plug into the socket to recharge your phone, where the ceiling height dropped to 1 meter. Even I, with a height of 1.53m, hit these ceilings with my head.

Let's go further. Taking into account the fact that we were sent to another city, which is not even in the same region as Venice, we had to buy an excursion to get there. I refused to pay for it until the last day, tk. I wasn't sure what I was getting for the money. At first they promised me to leave early in the morning and spend the whole day in Venice...

When I wrote to the escort that I decided to go, and agreed on when I would pay, I saw a note at the reception that the departure had already been postponed to noon ... I wrote again, clarified ... I received an answer that at 12:00 there, at 19 :00 - back. As a result, already on the bus on the way to Venice, the third and (hooray!) final version appeared with a return at 19:45. In general, again, you don’t know what you bought even when you bought it.

Sightseeing tour of Venice - thank God that only 45 minutes (by the way, it was announced 1.5 hours) - we ran through Piazza San Marco in a tedious tone. What the guide showed was visible only directly next to her (in a large group, nothing is clear anymore). In general, we could only get pleasure from an independent walk. By the way, no one warned that if you want to go into some rooms, then in Venice the dress code is covered shoulders and knees. So the overview of the sights turned out only from the outside.

And all the treasures are hidden inside...

We returned from Venice, of course, again at night. On the way, they turned on a film about Casanova (there were a couple of erotic scenes in it, and there were very small children in the group; but on the other hand, this was perhaps the only case when the film corresponded to the excursion - it featured Venice).

Breakfast at the hotel from 8:00 to 10:00 "Come whenever you want" (also an interesting moment of organization) ... at 9:00 departure to Slovenia (last year in such cases, the guide agreed to move breakfast to an earlier time, but not this time). We arrived at the resort in Portorož at 11:00! and left at 4:00 pm. Guys, who came up with this nonsense? To bring people to the beach at the exact time when it is simply dangerous to be in the sun? Naturally, many burned out in the sun.

Moving to Hungary. We got to the hotel again around midnight (according to Ukrainian time, about one in the morning). They gave me the key to the room. We went to the room...

and then a hotel employee runs after us and says that our escort asked to change our room to another one. Well, it was impossible to immediately distribute the numbers normally? No, you need to move from room to room at one in the morning ... (by the way, last year there was such a story too - this is a common thing with a chord).

Last day. We're going home. The escort tells stories from her past tours, gives instructions to "travel", advertises (rather intrusively) her future tours ... Repeated "August 25th ... 10 times ... (I will not advertise the name of the tour)" And after the words that everything bad will be forgotten, and the impressions about the countries will remain good ... the whole principle of the work of the Accordtour becomes obvious. They have no motivation to organize a tour well - they are sure that no matter how bad it is for you with them, you will still return, because you want to go to Europe again.

Bottom line: if knowledge of the language allows you, it is better to go by yourself.

Buy a plane ticket. This, in addition to the total travel time, will save you 7 hours of standing at the border. Choose the hotel for yourself by reading the reviews, the one that suits you. And choose the city yourself! You will be surprised, but you can choose something much more interesting than the assortment from the Accordtour list. Tours... if you need someone to tell you something, tours can be found in the tourist towns themselves. And if you are ready to work hard yourself - on the Internet you will find much more routes with a description of each pebble ... and finding these places on your own (by map / description / using a tourist guide or asking passers-by), you will not only see more than with a guide, but and be proud of yourself for doing it. And do not believe it! In terms of money, it will turn out about the same, only more comfort.

This is how I organize my next trip.

And I wish Accordtour to go bankrupt faster and not spoil people's vacation.
