Travel agency: Аккорд-тур Туроператор (Lviv) Service type: пакетный тур |
The Fjords of the North tour (since 09/09/2017) is a wonderful idea in the hands of careless managers and a rude escort (Yu. Kravets). This is the first time I'm posting a negative review about a tour.
And now in order.
Let's start with departure. And even then you had to say to yourself: STOP.
This tour operator is the least worried about the tourist. Departure for the tour at 8.30 from terminal "A". The train from the city of Dnepropetrovsk, numbering 1 million inhabitants, arrives in Lviv at 8.33. First "Thank you" to the company. This is an extra day on the road. Departure on the tour from the vaunted terminal "A", the transfer schedule to the terminal was a secret until the middle of the penultimate day, when we were finally told the departure time by phone.
I want to talk about the terminal separately. From the description of the terminal on the website: “Here you can find comfortable waiting rooms with a large number of seats, free Wi-Fi is available to all those waiting. There is a free sanitary zone in the lobby without queues and with all amenities.”
From what we saw: Terminal "A" was invented for the convenience of the tour operator, not at all a tourist. There are no platform numbers. About 20 tours depart at the same time on the flight !!!. There is a queue for the toilet, nowhere to sit, the second floor is occupied by a restaurant and a hotel reception, it is problematic to get there with luggage, at least a ramp instead of stairs, not to mention an escalator ... On the ground floor there is a cafe and a shop and a small number of seats, people, like on a bus at an hour peak. Flight numbers are announced. And these announcements are heard only inside the terminal. The administrator told me that it was not technically possible to hear about the departure of his flight from the street. Since 2013!!! There were no funds for a speakerphone. Buses stand idle. And from time to time a flight number appears on the windshield. Good thing we were both. One is standing with things, the second is winding circles, looking for our flight, and before departure, meanwhile, 10 minutes ... Rushing around the terminal with things in search of a flight is not the best invention of Akkord. And finally, the bus was found.
We breathed a sigh of relief, but in vain. At the entrance to the bus, we were told that after passing through the Polish customs, we were waiting for a transfer to the Polish bus. And I would have believed Yury Kravets what this is for the first time in five years of his work, if it were not for the reviews I read earlier on sites where they had already written about these transfers, and acquaintances of tourists were traveling in the next bus, who reported that they were also transplanted. I would forgive the company for this transfer, it is more convenient for a Polish bus to travel through the EU, but the tour started with a lie and continued like that. The tour is already very difficult, luggage was pulled out twice at the Polish border, spending the night every day in a new hotel, so extra times dragging luggage from bus to bus (transfer to the terminal, transfer to the Polish bus ...) was clearly not pleasing.
Accompanying. Experienced, with two highs, one of them is international tourism, which promised ... However ... We heard a lot about what a hotel room is like with two beds separately, beds together, and three beds, that Yura's name is George in Europe, we were congratulated on all the days of the city of our country, and there were many of them, and almost every day they tried to congratulate us on something. It seems to be not bad when the escort is not silent (these also come across). But let me, for EACH tour you need to prepare separately and give brief information to the tourist about what we see outside the window, what country we are passing through, how and how the country lives. A few suggestions, and the tourist is satisfied and he himself does not need to talk about anything for several hours in a row. But when a large city appeared outside the window, everyone vied with each other trying to find out what we were passing. Taking a deep breath and saying: “Don’t let the escort rest,” Yuri told us that Warsaw, the capital of Poland, was outside the window ... Before that, he very skillfully dissuaded the group from visiting the capital, for which we had time. It’s a pity, but I didn’t see Warsaw (declared in the tour program, though with a reservation, if there is time after customs clearance, but I already said this).
The first hotel in the town of Tczew was a 10-minute drive from Malbrock Castle (it was seen by tourists who came to this hotel on their own), declared in the program as an elective. But our itinerary was made in such a way that first Gdansk, and from there you have the opportunity to spend a "Journey through the Middle Ages" (26€ + entry ticket) - the majestic Malbrock castle, on the banks of the Nogat River, which is now located at a distance of 126 km from Gdansk. However, we did not have enough time for it. By the way, Gdansk is beautiful. Separately, I hope those who took the tour will write a kind word about the guide.
Night on the ferry, breakfast in the morning. Do you remember that breakfast on the ferry is paid separately? Read to the end, it will be interesting, because we still have a ferry on the way back.
Copenhagen is wonderful. I liked him very much. Clever guide who led the tour there. It was impossible not to fall in love with the city. Of course, there is always little time, but I understand that there can not be much time on the tour without night crossings. I looked at the route on the map, measured the distances, and understood, and did not expect more. Yes, I forgot to say about the impressions that I experienced when crossing the Øresund bridge. First along the bridge, and then into the tunnel, under the water. Very good!!!
Oslo guide is below praise, although the city itself is also very good. Arriving on the excursion "Museum Island" (26 € excursion + entrance ticket). “Museum Island is villas immersed in flowering gardens, adjacent to piers with snow-white yachts and many museums…. Everyone can visit the museum with a guide and hear exciting stories. Visit to the Viking Ship Museum.” is from the tour description. Here we visited a free toilet (a separate pride of our escort). ALL! We circled around it. There are many wonderful museums inside - all that we happened to hear. In general, we did not visit the Viking Museum, we saw its toilet. Dot. But people write on websites that this is a "Great place where you can spend half a day." Wow, but I would never have thought of it ... But I put a tick: I was there. The guide was lethargic, there was little information, when asked in Vigeland Park about what the author wanted to say with these unusual sculptures, the answer was short: “Vigeland did not tell us anything about it.” With a clear conscience, we did not run after the guide, there was no need ... However, then she told something, and when we asked the question again, she answered that we had not listened ... And the park itself is impressive, yes. I read about it on the Internet (although I paid 43 euros). The guide did not go with us to the climactic ride on the springboard.
The highlight of this trip is the city of Flam. It cannot be described in words. It needs to be seen. Nature did its best, and yes, I already forgot about all the previous bad luck ... I took all four excursions, which I did not regret at all, not for a minute. Thanks to mother nature, but for some reason "Accord" entered in the feedback sheet that we filled out at the end of the tour, the question of how we liked these excursions. I liked it very much, but your merit in this is NO !!! By the way, there was no guide. But for what the cost of each excursion includes a transfer (all 4 in one place, with a very small distance from each other) or company services in the amount of 20 euros (the cost of a ticket for the Flåm railway, for example, is 48 euros, and from us 68, I didn’t understand why, I didn’t find out the cost of the ship, but I’m sure that it’s the same there.) And here’s something else - Polish drivers climbed the serpentine for the first time, they didn’t want to go, the tourists heard this discussion, and I ... but for me, a surprise, it turns out that a dangerous move is in the hands of non-professionals. And then I remembered how I reacted to the negative reviews on sites about the Accord. And about the accident that was described by tourists on Turpavda and about the attitude of the company to this curiosity for someone, and for someone even death ...
The last and most important excursion-walk on the ship ended at 19.00. And this is where the question arises. 1. Why was the 4th excursion added to the infolist, if we had to cover 800 km after Flam and the program was oversaturated? ATTENTION: tour without night crossings! AS? How can 800 km be done after 19:00 without night crossings? Yes it was possible! It was possible to stay at a hotel (where we had already spent the night) and where we stopped to go to the toilet at 23:00 (a free gift from the company?) However, then we were told that with a Swedish visa, most hotels should be Swedish ... Then I have a reasonable question: Why do you open Swedish visas for this tour, and not Norwegian ones? We got to the hotel in the morning, around 4:30. For the paid day, I slept for 2 hours and had breakfast.
Next, we had to see Gothenburg and catch the ferry by 21 o'clock. Now we could leave only after the bus had stopped (9 hours). Therefore, our time in Gothenburg was reduced to a minimum, because we still need to catch the ferry, and there, whoever did not have time, he was late. The city, surprisingly, was very beautiful. But (oh those buts in every sentence). We did not see the main street, we were from afar, from the bus window we saw the two main symbols of the city “The Girl Who Waits”, “The Statue of Poseidon”. And we made one photo pause at the observation deck. We went to the fish market. And they rushed to the ferry. I give it my due: the guide was smart, but she was put in such conditions and again everything crumpled. And we managed to check in for the ferry by 20:00! Looks like WOW! But that's just how it seems. Someone noticed that the ticket leaves at 23:00. And two hours in a cold waiting room instead of walking around Gothenburg ... We plunged and had breakfast, paying our 11 euros. And this should happen, a woman with a child decided to ask in a restaurant: is it possible for some type of child payment ... I don’t presume to say that it was exactly like that, she herself will write if she wants (I would like to), I know the retelling. It turns out that the cost of breakfast was included in the ticket price !!!!! And probably at the beginning of the tour as well. People showed their room key at the entrance to the restaurant, they scanned it and voila ... In fairness, it should be noted that our Jor allegedly also paid, again from the words, I did not see.
What's this? Collusion with the ferry company or ordinary carelessness?
Accord, I want to ask you: who gave you the right to dispose of my funds in this way?? To a question addressed through the accompanying "Akkorda", the answer was a polka for a tourist from Yura. I wouldn't mind looking at it. In the evening, while we were waiting for departure for two hours, he had already received a decent portion of dissatisfaction from at least half of the tourists. They demanded an explanation from Accord, he reluctantly wrote, then called, then said that the most he was allowed to do was to buy tourists 2-3 bottles of whiskey and present the check to the company so that they ... then my speculation, I don’t heard, but the continuation is ringing in my ears. And yes, some of the tourists got a bottle of whiskey. I don’t know who it is, and I also don’t know how many of them were bought and who then had a joy. Shara, however. ? A few people missed the train (and it's not the fault of the customs at all, everything went quickly there), but what does this matter to the company?
In general, everything negative that you read before me about the Accord is true. And I'm with them for the first and last time. How many times I have been on tours, I always write only good things. Now this is my first time, and you must travel in this direction, but with a different tour operator. Scandinavia is worth seeing with your own eyes!
