Not bad, but expensive electives

Went on the "Our Beautiful Weekend" tour in September. In general, the organization is not bad: a comfortable bus, a good group leader, good hotels (except the last one in Miskoł-Tapolca with an unpleasant smell, damp bedding and a problematic shower). The organization of excursions was also quite clear and thoughtful. But our inexperience showed up (it was our first tour to Europe). took several electives, and in the future they greatly regretted it. Most of them are outright money grabs. A trip to Szentendre costs more than 20 euros, and there, apart from two churches and a small marzipan museum, you will not see anything. In Prague, you could safely go to Hradcany yourself for free, in Kazimierz (Krakow) it was already late, and we galloped through the dark streets, seeing almost nothing. I liked only a walk along the Danube in Budapest. Next time we will be more careful, we will choose only those electives where you can really see something and where it is difficult to get on your own.

Terminal A caused great bewilderment. Many people praise it for the fact that you can go to the toilet there, eat and buy various little things in the shop. As if all this cannot be done in Lviv, where all the tourists come at the beginning of the tour. We sat in the terminal for more than an hour, waiting for our departure. This hour was then oh so lacking in Krakow, where we arrived late because we were delayed at the border. And on the way back, when everyone is already on the train with their thoughts, this terminal is not needed at all.

In general, the trip was not bad, interesting and informative. We are planning to go to Italy in the summer, I think that we will go with Accord again, but this time we will prepare for the trip more carefully.
