Travel agency: Аккорд-тур Туроператор (Lviv) Service type: пакетный тур |
From May 20 to June 1, 2018, we went on the Tale of the East tour - Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey (Marmaris).
Nothing bad to say about the tour itself. A good program, timely excursions and trips, good hotels with a normal breakfast, qualified guides. Even the bus this time came across with a little more space between the rows that fit the knees, with footrests and well reclining seats.
The work of the guide also does not cause any particular complaints - all duties were performed, on time and organized trips and accommodations to hotels.
But then the "BUT" about the work of the company itself begins. And her ugly attitude towards tourists.
1. Despite the fact that another planned tour "The East will tell about secrets" with a departure on May 26 was bought around February, and they assured that the tour was picking up and going - a week before the departure, we were taken aback by the message that the purchased tour was not going, and You have to choose from what is offered, it’s good even without additional payment. In practice, this means a breakdown of all gentlemen at work who do not live in Lviv - changing tickets, hotel reservations, negotiating with superiors and work colleagues - i.e. a bunch of problems. At the same time, "Akord Tour" with early booking rips off 20 euros "guarantees" for canceling a trip or rescheduling a tour on the part of a tourist. Nothing insures the tourist himself from lawlessness of the company. As the saying goes - "if you want to make God laugh - tell Him about your plans" - if you want to make Accord-tour laugh - book a tour with him, but early. And a similar situation was almost at half of the bus, where tourists were gathered, probably from almost half of the failed tours at the end of May.
2. Accommodation in a hotel. Everything seems to be in order, the hotels along the route are good. BUT!!! Be afraid if you, traveling alone people of the same sex - will be an odd number. The remaining three victims will be stuffed into a minimal double room the size of a mousetrap, where an extra cot, proudly referred to as an "extra-bed", will be tucked in. In this room there will be no place even to simply open a suitcase or just put your foot down. And to move around the room, you need to master the art of levitation to get to your bed, or crawl onto it from the end on all fours. And this situation was in ALL hotels along the route, except for one. Okay for one night - but also in Marmaris for the entire stay - 7 days - it was suggested that 3 adults huddle in the square, which is minimal for two. Well, the situation was resolved at the reception, and the room was changed. And if not? Holidays at sea would turn into a nightmare. At the same time, the Accord Tour did not interfere in any way, and its representative-guide stated that we would not prove anything through the court, because on their website it was written about such a sharing with an "extra-bed".
3. The high cost of excursions from a tour operator is 2 times more expensive. In Marmaris, there were no problems with the same trips on Aniti Street, but 2 times cheaper. In Istanbul (since we were there for the first time) we had to be content with the proposed tour operator.
Thus, when planning your next trips, it already makes sense to think about further contacting this tour operator.
