Travel agency: Аккорд-тур Туроператор (Lviv)
Service type: экскурсионный тур

Just arrived from the bus tour "Hungarian Csardas"! Vienna and Budapest.

Tour operator - Accord Tour.

This is not my first bus tour, I know all the pros and cons of this travel format.

Being on a tour, I was very unpleasantly surprised by the organization of the tour, the accompanying guide, an extremely uncomfortable bus, check-in at the hotel at almost 2 am. But after reading the reviews of other tourists, I realized that all my problems were flowers.

Before that, I read reviews about Akorda in 2017, it was 50/50 +, the agency said that there are always dissatisfied people and the tour operator is reliable.

The tour was bought spontaneously, at the last moment, 2 days before departure.

Departure is indicated at 21:30 from Terminal A, the departure from the station is reported by the attendant 24 hours in advance. Arriving in Lviv, we called ourselves and found out when the departure was. On the hotline they answered that at about 20:00 you should already be at the railway station. Toward evening, the attendant nevertheless deigned to call us and said that the meeting at the station was at 21:00, in fact, they had been waiting for the bus for almost an hour. Judging by the reviews of other tourists, they were marinated for 1-2 hours at Terminal A, so + at least in the fact that we were not taken to this Terminal).

The bus, compared to the ones I traveled before, was very uncomfortable, the window next to me was dirty, smeared into something, it was impossible to look into it. The seats are uncomfortable even for me with my height of 160 cm, the air conditioner worked strangely - the first half of the bus was hot, and the last places were incredibly windy and cold. But if you look at what people write about their travels with Akord, then their buses were generally broken, the air conditioners did not work at all, there were problems with the documents of both the transport and the drivers, + the boorish driver. Yes, our drivers did not quite understand where and how to go, but they always smiled and were never rude, helping to get luggage.

Passing the border. The guide did not explain to people what and how, many did not know and did not understand what was happening. There was a feeling that he himself did not understand what was happening and what actions should be taken when crossing the border. But despite this, he filled out all the documents in his part, and at least there were no hitches with this.

Guide. A young boy, very (even too) self-confident. The guide boasted that we overtook the bus at the border. How "fun" it is to play racing with 50 people on the bus. Also, the guide did not clearly know the route ... when there will be sanitary stops ... how many toilets, are they paid or not ... is it possible to buy something to eat here. And this, for a second, is one of the first, most popular and frequent travel needs of people, and given the number of Accord tours, everything should be arranged. Then I read reviews about other guides and realized that despite the fact that our guide had very little experience, he still tried, answered almost all questions, was not particularly rude, said the place and time of collection, did not run away from his tourists , showed where to change money in the city and where to buy food.

Excursions. We bought a tour with 4 excursions included in the price. 1st in Vienna, 2nd and 3rd in Budapest and 4th in Lviv. I didn’t like the first one in Vienna, they made everyone pay 2 euros for an audio guide, although there is no such clause in the contract. Why this nonsense? If you need audio guides for everyone, include this in advance in the price. We didn't pay, we listened like that. Although it is difficult to call it an excursion, a forced march through the center of Vienna, which lasted 30 minutes maximum. The guide simply told a dry text from Wikipedia, there was no feedback, there were no questions, she just ran somewhere forward, telling the text along the way and everyone ran after her. There were no 2 excursions in Budapest. In fact, only one stood, but the guide gave interesting information, with interesting facts + there was live communication, she asked questions and answered ours. We did not go on a tour of Lviv, so it is difficult to judge its quality.

There were no paid tours either. For example, a trip on a boat with champagne cost 26 euros (without an excursion as such, just a boat trip). At the same time, we took the tour ourselves for only 11 euros with the same champagne + with an audio guide in Russian.

Thanks to our guide that everyone who paid for the excursions got there, and those who did not buy were not touched (because, judging by the reviews, we were lucky with the guide in this regard).

Gothel. The hotel itself was not bad, the breakfast included in the price was good. The only thing I didn't like was the check-in at 2 nights, but the plus was the check-out at 10:00. I read that in many tours it is normal to check in at 5:30 and check out at 8 in the morning. Everything in our room worked, there was a hair dryer and air conditioning.

Conclusion: I liked the cities, I will definitely go again, but obviously not with this tour operator.

I will never go with the Accord tour again and I do not advise you anywhere. It will cost more...

Personally, I don't want to pay money and think about luck or bad luck ... All their shortcomings (including even the smallest ones) are not accidental. It's not bad circumstances, it's the way the Chords work.
