Just got back from the Mia Italia tour. I would like to leave a review...
About a HORRIBLE organization
The group was accompanied by a guide Olga Gubachova - incompetent, disorganized, indifferent to any questions/requests/problems of the group. We were delayed for 15-20 minutes at each stop, because of which we were late all the time, arrived at hotels after one in the morning, and left at 7 in the morning. Please note that in Rome and Florence you need to travel by trains and metro at your own expense. This is very tiring, the cars are overcrowded, there are a lot of pickpockets, and our guide could not even really tell how many stations to get off, she stuffed everyone into one car. When the group was settled in two hotels, and we agreed to meet on the platform, Olya and her part of the group came 20-30 minutes later than the appointed time, drove in the wrong direction to the subway. The shoals were EVERY day. An additional 20.5 euros were collected from the group for the journey.
There was no time to eat / buy something either due to constant delays. We returned from the tour at 2.20 am instead of 00 am indicated in the program, as a result - 95% of the group lost their train tickets and were forced to spend another day in Lviv. We were late, again, because of the long stops, although everything went pretty quickly with customs.
The apogee was the settlement in a hotel in San Marino, when 12 people from the group were left near some garages, handed out the keys and said that this was a hotel. As a result, the room (if you can call it that) had one bed for two strangers. Olya did not pick up the phone, and answered the message that nothing could be done. In this "hotel" there was no sign, no reception, only some man who gave the keys on the street and left!!!
About the program
The cities are very beautiful, the guides are mostly good, they told interesting things. I was upset by the sudden replacement of Lake Bled Ljubljana. Isn't it known in advance that it's dark there?!
Pisa is another disappointment. The city is on the program, but as Olya said, if we go there, we will get to the hotel after 4 in the morning, and get up at 6. Is this a tour without night crossings ?! Why include Pisa, which, by definition, does not have time to visit?
Ljubljana. Great city, good guide, BUT! the tour cost 18 euros and lasted 35-40 minutes, although Olya said that the tour would be complete, 2-2.5 hours. Again, cheating.
Representatives of the company ignore the situation, do not give explanations / apologies. I wrote many times in the hope of getting an intelligible answer, but alas ...
Despite the beauty of the cities and the positive attitude, the impression was not the best. In the future I will avoid trips with the Accord.
