Tour "Our Beautiful Weekend", flight No. 363, departure date 09/17/2017 Group leader Vladimir Shulga.
1. The TV did not work on the bus. Accordingly, rather long journeys that could be filled with video information, interesting facts from the history, geography, architecture, etc. about the country visited were long and rather tiring, every day there was simply nothing to do for several hours spent on the bus.
2. The head of the group, Vladimir Shulga, could save the situation by delivering information at least in audio mode, i.e. telling interesting facts orally. Unfortunately, it was rather problematic to get a word out of Vladimir. Several times the members of the group tried to get Vladimir talking with leading questions. The attempts remained unfulfilled. Phrases of 2-3 words, spoken by him in the style: area of the Czech Republic .... sq km, population ...., Skoda cars are produced in the country, obviously did not save the situation.
3. The information from the Accord tour does not contain the cost of tickets for individual tourist sites that are offered for visiting. After the head of the group, Vladimir Shulga, collected information about who and where goes to the additional. excursions, he made a calculation of the total amount for each tourist, voiced each additional amount. payment for these excursions (together with entrance tickets) and collected the amounts due from each. The entry ticket for visiting the cave bath in Miskolc-Tapolca, according to the group leader Vladimir Shulga, costs 12.5 euros. We decided to pay with a card through a terminal that worked at the box office. Based on the information on the check, an entry ticket for two costs 500 kroons, i.e. 19.2 euros (on the day we visited the site on 09/21/2017). That is, through the cashier we paid almost 6 euros less for 2 people than if Vladimir Shulga had provided this service to us. What is the difference in the price of entry tickets at other sites and whether there is one, we don’t know, because, completely trusting the head of the group, it didn’t even cross my mind to double-check it.
4. Hotels. No complaints and only positive memories of the hotel in Krakow. Both the rooms for accommodation and the buffet were at a decent level. But in Prague, our room did not have an overhead light, we were "forgotten" to cover the sheets and provide bath towels. There was no strength to go down late in the evening from the 8th floor down to the reception and explain, not knowing the language, the problem. survived. But Budapest just struck me: the rooms are dirty (crumbs on the floor, the hair of previous guests in the bathroom, torn curtains, stained towels, I just won’t say anything about the lack of shampoo and shower gel in single packages). Breakfasts in Prague (Abito Hotel) and Budapest (Hotel Eben), to put it mildly, left much to be desired.
It is unfortunate that all these small and not quite small complaints left their mark on the mass of positive emotions and impressions created by the atmosphere of European beauties - cities with their unforgettable architecture, luxury interiors, goodwill of city guides.
