Accord Tour is a big lottery.

I used the services of Accord-Tour (AT) for the second time, so I can afford to compare the organization of the tour in dynamics and find systemic moments, discarding coincidences and coincidences.

Booked the tour five months in advance when I started planning my vacation. They confirmed the reservation indicating the seats on the bus (exactly the ones that I wanted - no doubt a big plus for AT). In two months, I paid for a 100% tour and handed over all the requested documents, and this is where the first lottery draw began. I was going to go on a tour with my daughter (she has a clean passport) and there were big fears whether they would open a visa for her or not. No information from AT during all two months. I didn’t want to go on tour alone at all, and if a visa is refused, organizing a trip to another country during the vacation does not give me the opportunity, because. a week before departure, the day for the payment of the tour is not returned or partially refunded. Information sheet about the tour and a message that visas are open received from the travel agency six days before the start of the tour or three days before departure to Lviv. During these three days, I looked on the Internet for the location of hotels, information on them and possible means of transport, with the exception of, of course, transit hotels. I looked at information on additional optional excursions, which were not originally in the tour program.

And now the second lottery draw from AT has begun. Figuratively speaking, the whole tour relies on three pillars, which, in my opinion, are equivalent in importance - the organization of the AT tour; team leader; the bus and its crew. The lottery is what awaits you on the tour! So:

Organization of the AT tour - just like on my first trip "Favorite duet", the tour "Rome is always beautiful" was organized without the slightest hiccups. Everywhere they were waiting for us, everything that was stated in the tour program was 100% fulfilled. Hotels in Budapest and Rome 4 *, which is higher than stated in the tour program. The tour is very interesting and eventful.

The leader of the group - this “whale” should not be underestimated, no matter how well the tour operator works, the leader of the group can ruin everything (I wrote about this in my reviews earlier, I don’t want to repeat myself). Here, I think we are very lucky. The leader of our tour “Rome is always beautiful” Vladimir Klimenko loves his work, the preliminary preparation for the tour is visible, he takes his duties responsibly, knows how to work with people, is patient, attentive, and a good organizer. If I knew that he would accompany the group on the next trip, I would have decided to tour with AT again. I want to draw the attention of AT to Vladimir Klimenko - such a guide should be appreciated, your profit is directly dependent on such employees. I would like to wish Vladimir success and draw attention to the following problems of tourists: the goal of a real tourist is to see more and get maximum information on the tour program, and not to check in early at the hotel, so if for some reason there was a temporary failure in the tour, find an opportunity to give tourists 30 -40 minutes of free time, it took them a long time to reach this goal, tourism is also hard work. And I also want to draw attention to the moment in Egerszalok at the Balneo Hotel - if you promised something to the group (even very insignificant), be sure to do it.

The bus and its crew is also a very important point in the journey. In our tour, we got a Mercedes bus, not quite new, but it cannot be compared with the Neoplan that we got in the previous tour. The seat, in my opinion, is quite comfortable, you can comfortably position your legs, I practically did not use the travel pillow. However, the tourists in the group complained about the comfort of the bus - the air conditioner on the right side did not work satisfactorily or did not work at all. The drivers are two Romans (younger and older) from Kalush. Basically, they knew the route well, they got lost only in Florence upon returning from Pisa, they drove us around the evening city for 30 minutes. They were quite patient in dealing with tourists. So what's the catch.

Yes, the trick is in the speed mode. True, no one openly reproached the drivers for this - they are responsible for safety. But driving along the highway at a speed of 60-70 km / h is too much, we were overtaken by all buses, trucks, and in one section even a cyclist on a mountain bike. We were seriously worried that things from the trunk would be stolen (just kidding). The distance from Florence to Pisa of 120 km covered more than two hours. As a result, there were 50 minutes in Pisa, everything was running, there was no free time. To take a photo, I had to leave the tour. We got lost, the navigator was not given out. The proof that my claims are justified - with our group, tourists from other routes moved in parallel (at least to Florence), they left later than us, and they were in Pisa much earlier.

It took two hours to get from Ljubljana to Bled. They thought that local traffic cops would stop with a question - where are you sneaking? Some of the tourists on their way back from Rome, having arrived in Ljubljana, hired a bus and once again visited Lake Bled - the journey took 45 minutes. Due to the fault of the drivers, a visit to the baths in Egerszalok was canceled. Why change the currency to forints? And this is not the only case when drivers made negative corrections to the tour.

I would like to thank AT and express my comments and suggestions on the general organization of the tour and specifically the tour "Rome is always beautiful":

- consider posting information about the accompanying person on the tour in advance, and not a few days before the tour

- provide at least 1-2 hours of free time in Pisa, it's worth it

- pay attention to the fact that people walk in San Marino, and do not rush like tourists of our group, this, at least, does not correspond to the atmosphere that exists in this country. At least 1-2 hours of free time

- adjust the program of stay in hotels in the cities of Zalakaros and Mezakovest, because these are resort cities, 1-2 hours for SPA events. By the way, a second visit to Budapest and wasting time in Campon is completely pointless. There is nothing to look at, there is nothing to spend money on! And this is the opinion of almost the entire group. Wouldn't it be better to leave this time in favor of the baths in Egerszalok?
