In the airport of Dubai, both times I carried a litrukha in my luggage. But in ap Sharjah, they say, they smuggle and take away. In general, it is better to fly through Dubai. In the process of waiting for luggage, you can immediately run into the dutik and stock up on alcohol normally. No one will interfere with a quiet drink in the room, but in general - the most "dry" emirate. You shouldn't get caught, the easiest result is a fine and deportation.
Only breakfasts were taken from the feeding area. There are no comments. Convenient time - 0700-1000. (4 years ago, in Nova Park, you had to have a quick breakfast, run on a shuttle to the beach in Golden Beach, from the beach back by a shuttle at 12 o’clock - or stay sunbathing and leave by taxi. It’s inconvenient, so this time we decided to live on beach J ) People from other hotels arrive at about 0730, it seems that there is a shortage of sunbeds. After lunch, the beach is half empty. Internet is expensive, 80 rubles. per hour and only WiFi at the reception. There is one life hack on this topic. The Red Castle complex has a restaurant Al Diwan Al Mandi (sorry!! ! J) Its WiFi reaches the opposite side of the street. The waitress sets the password for visitors, one device per person. And then you can use it on a bench at the bus stop opposite. The restaurant is normal, but for everyday food it seemed a little expensive, but still cheaper than in the vaunted Kazan.
The shuttle schedule is handed out in printed form, deviations are practically within 5 minutes. Using them, you can do without a taxi at all. The only time they didn’t want to wait for the shuttle for 1.5 hours in Deira (Dubai) is a taxi at rush hour according to the meter 1168r. in recalculation. The driver’s English is also not Oxford, and I had to explain many times where to go and show on my Google Maps. The funniest thing in the shuttle is the compatriots, in a collective farm way, driving on the drivers in Russian (and he is Indo-Pakistan Malaysia) - there is not much English there either. But, of course, he understands the names of the hotels without any problems, he keeps the schedule. If you do not know English at all, it will be difficult. The staff knows only the most common words for work.
Two Russian aunts are sitting in the lobby, but they are not hotel staff - their business is to sell excursions. They can help, although they don't have to. Life hack: roll up a simple offline dictionary on your phone. You don't even have to say it - you can show it. You can use offline navigators for orientation, 2GIS, for example. But the reference search is terrible. Arabic names in English have many different meanings. But to navigate and pave the way home is easy. It is more difficult to find footpaths - not everywhere they are.
