It's funny to read how this hotel praises itself

Rested in Sharjah in mid-April 2011. We were going to go to another hotel, but there were no places for the duration of our trip. The tour agency suggested Tulip Inn. It seems to be 4 *, it should be fine... But where is it already there!
Let's start with the fact that immediately upon arrival, a gigantic cockroach was noticed on the central porch of the hotel, which, when we unloaded from the taxi, noisily disappeared somewhere under the bench. The driver handed us an envelope containing casually copied leaflets with information about excursions and prices. The letter itself, on behalf of the supposedly hotel guide, was in English, well, that's nothing, we speak a little English, only the contact phone number of this guide did not answer day or night. So we didn't get to see the guide.
At the hotel reception, we unsuccessfully tried for 3 days to get a map of Sharjah. They didn't get it, the boy at the counter said that they ended yesterday, and it is not known when they will be again. We have never succeeded in finding out exactly in which direction we need to move to the market or somewhere else. Different boy-girls at the counter all the time called different directions.

This hotel does not have any free buses to the beach or to Dubai. Either on foot or by taxi.
The cost of our tour included only breakfast, and thank God that no more! Throughout our stay, the set of dishes did not change in any way, the unfortunate croissant had to wait for 40-50 minutes, as if for some reason they were not baked by the time of breakfast; sliced cucumbers, tomatoes and cheese looked like they were left over from yesterday's dinner, i. e. practically inedible. It was impossible to drink coffee at all - NESCAFE from an iron can. When serving coffee, only a cup was given to the table, sometimes a spoon was given to it. The saucer, like an unnecessary anachronism, was present only once (! ) times in 15 days! Sugar, which was in a vase on the table, was immediately carried away when coffee or tea was served. Apparently, the waiters were familiar with the difficult situation with sugar in our state and suspected that we had come specially to stock up on their sugar.
Separately, I want to note the cleaning in the room. In a hotel with 4 * for more than two weeks, NEVER bed linen was changed in the room! Towels were changed three times, more often they were simply taken away without a return. Or they simply folded the wet ones and hung them beautifully. Fortunately, there was a locker with clean linen next to our room, from there we took our own towels. For all the time, ONE time they brought a small roll (it can be seen, someone's leftover) of toilet paper, and then they took it away. Apparently they decided that paper is also bad with us and there is nothing to play around with.
Of the two elevators, one was not working for half a day.
The furniture in the room was tattered, the curtains had probably not been washed for a year, onions could be grown in the dirt on the windowsill.
Terrible hotel, would not recommend to anyone!
