My husband was looking for a radio tape recorder in Nasser Square (by bus from the hotel to the city center of Dubai and from him by taxi for 10 derhams. Somehow, having gone from the hotel by bus in the afternoon (and we went there almost alone) to the city center of Dubai, they simply forgot us and did not return for us, the security in the store called the hotel using a business card that my husband took at the hotel, but they refused to go for us offering to return by taxi, having spent 50 derhams (1 derham - 8.65 rubles) for a taxi to the hotel, I immediately dialed a guide and politely asked either to return the money to us or to extend our room on the day of departure, since we need to vacate the room at 12 noon and they will come for us at 10 pm, in the heat of 40 we would not want to wander somewhere.
The guide solved this problem until our last day of stay at the hotel, but she decided to thank her for this, they brought a basket of fruit to our room (there was never such fruit at breakfast), we extended the room until 6 pm and thanks for that, because can whenever they want...
Near the hotel there is a wonderful garden of palm trees with beautiful birds, a lagoon in which you can not swim there sewage plums and all sorts of biting creatures.
