We got to Al Bustan by accident, we booked another hotel - it was not confirmed, as an alternative it was offered. We flew with Fly Dubai, without delay, without food, without water, they offered to drink a pill with water for 2 USD. (When we flew out of Dubai, water and scotch were not seized from hand luggage.
We arrived at the hotel at 10 am, we were immediately sent for breakfast, although we were not supposed to, for this many thanks to the staff. The "restaurant" is located right in the lobby of the hotel. We took only breakfast, it was enough for us. The variety of food is not special, but we didn’t get bored in 10 days. There was a kettle in the room, 2 bottles of water, sugar and tea/coffee bags replenished daily. Additionally, water could be collected in the cooler without problems.
We asked for a room in a quiet location and they gave it to us right away. The room is large enough, on the 4th floor. The beds are separate - we moved them. The TV is large, with a dozen channels in Russian.

In our room, the carpet was clean, but I heard from other vacationers that they were not very good. The window, as in most rooms, was small in the corner. Yes, there is not much light, but there are two large chandeliers on the ceiling - we had enough. There was no balcony. Clothes were dried in the bathroom. In the closet, when opened, the light turned on. If you need a room that is lighter and with a large window, then these are the rooms that face the facade of the building, and, accordingly, the road, and it is noisy there.
Shampoos, gels, cream, toothbrushes, machine tools, soap - replenished almost daily.
On the ground floor, behind the reception, there is a playground-type mat. There are also toilets on each floor. Adapters for sockets were not needed. Wifi worked well in the room. Towels were issued at the reception against signature once a day.
The pool is on the roof, there were not many vacationers near it. There are tables with umbrellas, but during the wind they are not allowed to open, and there is nowhere to hide. Also on the roof there is a shower, toilet and sauna, separate for men and women. My husband said that they always had a heated sauna, and the women's sauna was always turned off. I saw that women with husbands went into the men's room.
The main criterion for choosing a hotel for us was the first line or walking distance to the beach. We walked 7 minutes from this hotel to the beach. We need to cross 3 roads, but we overcame them very quickly. The beach is public, free, there are no sunbeds and umbrellas, and there is a shower, toilet and changing rooms only at the end of the beach (we never got there). It was windy for three days and people were only allowed to enter the water up to their knees. . . And there were constant low tides, so we didn't manage to swim much in the bay. On Friday, I don’t advise you to go to the beach - there are mostly locals, naturally they look at white people, they try to touch them in the water, there is noise around, the police ride in a jeep, they check something, drive them out - the pleasure there is very doubtful. It is better to take an excursion for this day or spend it by the pool.
You can also visit the paid beach of the Carlton Hotel, the entry price is 21 dirhams, you can also walk to it, only it is a little to the right from the road. But the guide did not advise us to go there, he said that there are a lot of tourists from that hotel and those who are brought.

Near the reception in the hotel there is a table with a representative of Shan Tour. We took excursions there. We visited Abu Dhabi (from 10.00 to 21.00), we really liked the mosque there, and everything was also informative. Thanks to the guide, it was very interesting to tell everything. Lunch with drinks included in the price of the tour. The museum and the Oceanarium are within walking distance - if you go towards the beach, they are a little to the left in the flowerbed. Free shuttle buses run from the hotel to the malls and Dubai. In the evening you can walk along the embankment, look at the 100-meter fountain and the dancing fountains - it's beautiful. Nearby there are two large supermarkets Cooperator - in different places. Those nearby are small shops, more expensive and with a small selection of goods.
Souvenirs were bought in the Red Store and in the store "From 1 to 10", the choice of everything is huge.
We were satisfied with our stay and the hotel. Once again I was convinced that the Emirates is an oriental fairy tale, which I want to return to again and again. And this fairy tale was presented to me by my beloved husband on the 10th anniversary of our acquaintance. Thanks, darling : -*. (Since Sharjah has a dry law, everything was taken to Duty Free for the celebration, and at the airport they were sent for inspection of suitcases selectively).
