We chose a hotel for a long time, at first we thought to go to the Intercontinental, but when we saw the dug up beach in the reviews of tourists, we changed our minds.
They bribed a photo of the beach, but alas, our expectations were not met.
The flight was at 7 am. According to our calculations, we should have been at the hotel around lunchtime, but the transfer to the hotel took not 2-2.5 hours, as the travel agency said, but 4 !!! ! As a result, tired and hungry, we arrived at the hotel by 19 o'clock. According to the rules of the hotel, you can’t swim in the dark (and we didn’t have the strength anymore), and in the end we had dinner and went to bed. So one day was gone. We thought we would at least get some sleep, but at night the landlines in the room began to ring at 12 at night, 2 and 4 in the morning. As a result, the husband went to understand the reception, but to no avail.
The next night it all happened again. We then simply turned them off ourselves for the entire duration of our vacation. Waking up in the morning, through the closed curtains, I saw that light was breaking through a HOLE in the curtain (and this is 5? ). The number of towels for 2 was 5 pcs. The bed is huge 2/2 meters, but creaky, the husband looked in and saw that there were 2 pieces of wood under the bed and propped up the bed in the center so that it would not fall through. But the most annoying thing is the mismatch of the beach. Half of the beach on the right was closed and construction work was going on on it. We learned that in October there was a flood and half of the beach was left with sand, and the rest was littered with huge stones and closed for swimming. As a result, it was crowded for us to swim in the remaining "sea sheep pen"; the length of the rest of the beach is about 100 meters, and 30 meters to the buoys due to constant low tides. We do not recognize pools at all, we love the freedom of "big water" and for hours we can not leave the water, as it was on nissi beach. Sand with fragments of shells and it was extremely unpleasant to walk on it. My husband found a piece of wood with a nail and a shoe brush on the beach, and that's all on the private beach of this 5 * hotel ((((
The system is all inclusive, not quite ALL inclusive. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners only in the Breeze restaurant, in other bars and restaurants on site, food is paid, drinks are free in all bars on the territory, but not all. They took wine, very sour, but the pinocolade is too alcoholic, I more or less liked the mojito. With DR from the hotel I was not congratulated in words or a postcard. By the way, last year my husband and I rested in Cyprus in 3 *, he had a birthday and at dinner he was given a present from the hotel in the form of a cake. It was very very nice.
There was an unfortunate incident at dinner. They didn’t want to serve us, they said that we would have come for dinner for the second time, but we went to Fujairah that day and from 15:40 to 20.30 we were not at the hotel. Then they figured out everything and served it, but the sediment remained (((we went on an excursion to Dubai for the whole day, we didn’t see anything supernatural there. They only take them to those stores that are beneficial to them and past small boutiques along the roads. But I still got to such a market Morashid in Fujairah, but only by taxi. By the way, in the emirates there are practically no pedestrian zones, it is possible to move only by transport, which was also forbidden for us people who like to walk around. On the last day, we begged for our lunch in the form of dry rations.
As a result, out of the 10 days that we were there, we got 8 full days for 163.000 r for two. I think that we rested in the UAE for the first and last time, because we do not like various kinds of restrictions. All pleasant trips and impressions. I hope this review can help someone make the right choice.
Just returned from this hotel. We flew with the tour operator Anex. No complaints about them. Arrivals and departures were on time. Well, almost on time. 20-30 minutes delay is nonsense.
So upon arrival we were met by representatives of the tour operator. We had a transfer, but we sat for an hour before it turned out that the second couple simply did not arrive. The driver did not even think to take the luggage, walked ahead and turned the keys (probably imagined himself as a local in front of some tourists). Well, we've arrived and it's okay
They settled us immediately, although the time before check-in was still 3 hours. We also got lunch without any problems, but the bracelets were given out (for drinks) only at 3 o’clock
The room is sooo tired, and the hotel itself as a whole, too. All scratched and shabby. True, everything worked, tea and coffee in the room, wf, Russian channels (the TV does not turn on after 12, the volume is limited), linen and towels were changed daily and everything was new and of high quality. The bed is comfortable. Dressing gowns (5? stars? ) - no!
Now about nutrition. Quite not bad, varied (except for breakfast) and more or less high quality. There were seafood and fish for lovers. Very well cooked lamb and good beef. It was possible to make a salad yourself, a large selection of both ingredients and dressings. We had all inclusive and there were no problems with drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
There are two "points" of drinks on the beach. Alcohol and cocktails only on the menu, the most unpretentious. Good alcohol costs "good" money. Just incredibly high prices. Homemade wine that is on the menu is absolutely impossible to drink. Worse, I have never tried. Again, all this "pleasure" is only until 6 pm. Then pay. But in the lounge all this is served until 23. For me it was very strange. In one place you can, in another you can't. Why? ! No answer
The staff is friendly (in places). Restaurants often confuse orders regardless of the language in which you ordered. Incredible number of small children! So couples without children, be prepared to be sprinkled with sand, sprinkled with water, or “padded up” with a ball in the fifth point (at best). It is almost impossible to sit at dinner. Parents wish the banquet to continue, but, oddly enough, the kids, tired during the day, do not share their desire. The cry is constantly and everywhere.
The beach and the sea are good if cleaned a little. Many shells and stones at the entrance to the sea and on the beach.
In any hotel you can find both pluses and minuses. There are more minuses in this hotel and it does not correspond to this money. Max 3+
I was very surprised by the rave reviews on this site. Just unbelievably surprised. People! Where have you rested before if this is paradise and delight ?!
PS. Take enough cigarettes with you. (no one checks at the airport). The hotel price for a pack of 34 h. You won't be saved.
The beach is more or less clean, sunbeds are really few for the peak season, but for an hour of arrival never lay on the sand : ).
The staff is friendly and always smiling.
There are 5 pools for every taste.
There is a free shuttle to Fujairah from the hotel, but reservations are limited. There is also a paid transfer to Dubai 100 dirhams.
The hotel has many vacationers with children. Our room was on the ground floor by the pool. The rooms are large and all overlook the sea.
And now about the bad : (
We had 3 meals a day, the first two days we didn't go anywhere, we could choose something, but then every day it got worse and worse.
There is nothing for children to eat except sausages, chicken, omelet in the morning and spaghetti.
Well, you can still fish that was daily cooked and baked (if not spicy).
The first 4 days were ice cream for children, which then disappeared somewhere.
Constantly raw pasta and potatoes, no fruit except watermelon. The choice of cakes and pastries decreased daily. On the last day as we drove it was 2 kinds of cakes and some cream (and it's 5 stars) ! ! ! ! !!
There is really nothing to choose from ! ! ! ! !!
At the expense of soups on the first day there were 4 types and on the last 1.
In general, the hotel is normal, but if you look at the food policy and then the impression is like getting into the Turkish top three.
About everything in order.
the check-in went well, the room is large, the furniture is shabby, but tolerable, everything works properly. Cleanly.
we bought an all inclusive tour - Al.
the food is normal, there is a lot of meat of different types, fish and seafood less often, but everything is in abundance. But, there is no place at the tables, the dishes are not cleaned for a long time, you have to run around looking for salt and pepper. The waiters seem to be wearing blinkers, they rush about, but they don’t see anything, having received the order they will disappear for a long time. Watermelons and melons are in abundance, apples and oranges are rare, only for breakfast a couple of times there were bananas.
beach and water, ocean, excellent.
Most importantly, what made me give such low ratings. Departure from the hotel at 17 o'clock, we had breakfast and we were told to return the room at 12 and you are not allowed to have lunch or drinks anymore. Here is a kind of all-inclusive system. Moreover, the friendly guide Alexei, at the meeting, clarified that yes, if everything is inclusive, then use everything without restrictions before departure. And no explanations that we have paid seven days under the contract, and only 6 have passed, did not convince. The bracelets were cut off and we were lying on the beach hungry. At the same time, we have a family with a baby of 2.5 years old, who were also not ready for this, they will also be hungry up to 17, like neither the travel agency nor the guide warned us that at 12 o'clock, you will turn into hungry homeless people despite the paid full agreement. Tour operator Anekstur, "thank you" for spoiling the rest.
In Dibey there is a supermarket LULU mango pistachios and everything else. Everything is very tasty and cheaper I recommend
A bit of geography: The hotel is located in Dibba (more precisely in the city of Dibba al-Fujairah), and not in Fujairah (as many descriptions say). Dibba is located 60 km from Fujairah (Fujairah is the capital of the Emirate of Fujairah). We rented a car (even when we were in Ukraine) in Fujairah, and in Ukraine, like knowledgeable people, they told us “yes, it’s there nearby. ” So this is not close at all. A free bus goes to Fujairah from the hotel every day, it takes more than an hour to go there (you need to sign up in advance), a taxi will cost about a thousand hryvnias one way. There is also a shuttle to Dubai Mall (100 dirhams per person), 2 times a week. Many hotel descriptions say "All rooms have an ocean view". In reality, there is the Gulf of Oman, if you look at the map, then the Arabian Sea follows it, and only then the Indian Ocean.
Service: The staff is friendly and helpful. Just come and ask, they will definitely help you. They are especially good with children. Few people speak Russian. The room was cleaned every day (changed bed linen, towels, brought water).
Number: All rooms are really with a view of the sea, it is very pleasant to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the surf. The number is ordinary, perhaps, as in the Egyptian five. Large bed, spacious bathroom. There are slippers. Our hair dryer did not work well - it turned off every five minutes, then we had to wait until it worked again (I have long hair, it dried for half an hour, but it never dried). Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and throughout the hotel. Someone complained that Skype does not work well, it turns off all the time. But my daughter watched cartoons on a tablet on YouTube in the evenings, everything worked well.
Hotel territory: The hotel is built along the road on one side, and along the sea on the other side. There is free parking (if you rent a car).
Beach and pools: The beach is large, clean (i. e. I have never seen garbage there), but the sea sometimes brings large stones ashore, so the photos give the impression that it is dirty. At the time when we were resting, there were no problems with sun loungers - i. e. there was no such thing as getting up early in the morning in Egypt and immediately running to the pool to take sun loungers. There is a pool for kids (60 cm deep), it is under a canopy and with fountains, so your child can splash there at least all day long and not get sunstroke.
Food: Less than in Egypt and much less than in Turkey, because there is no hodgepodge. Beef, lamb, chicken, fish (all lumps, no cutlets). Seafood I personally have never come across. Only soup with seafood. A couple of times for dinner there was kebab, very tasty. During our holiday, every day of the week in the evening, dishes from different cuisines of the world (Italian, Mexican, Asian, etc. ) were served for dinner. There is a children's table (french fries, pasta, something like mcnuggets, pizza, hamburgers). We took FB meals, only drinks were paid, and only at lunch and dinner. Everything for breakfast is free. For breakfast (this was not even in Turkey) fresh orange juice, and other juices, various yogurts and other dairy products. A lot of fruits for breakfast, lunch and dinner (watermelons, melons, pineapples, papaya, red grapefruit) and vegetables, both raw and stewed, boiled.
Entertainment: None. But everywhere they write about this hotel that it is for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Only my daughter was bored. At first torn to a disco? . But then I was content with watching cartoons in the room. True, there is a children's club (with computers, slides, games, etc. ), which is open from 9 to 18, with a lunch break. But when compared with Turkey and Egypt, there is no this endless propaganda of animators, guides, sellers, photographers, which personally pleased me very much. Nobody is forcing anyone here.
I'll be happy to answer any questions!
Speaking of excursions. Highly recommend visiting all the main attractions. Usually, tour operators describe the local exotic quite colorfully, so choose according to your taste. The only thing I want to advise is that it is better to combine excursions, except for the water park and the Ferrari park. The cost of the trip is quite high, at the same time, one and a half hours will be enough for you to visit, for example, a mosque. There is still a lot of time left even for the Ferrari Park, unless, of course, you set yourself the goal of visiting all the attractions
A very important factor is the presence of Russian-language television channels. The ocean is cool with crabs), warm and clean. Two steps from the rooms.
I wish you a pleasant stay in this hotel!! !
