Useful information about the hotel and surroundings.
About the hotel
The hotel is good, stuffed with modern technology. All rooms are large rooms with sea views. There are standard ones, then you have to look at the sea as if from around the corner. There is an ocean view. Then you open the curtains - and in front of you is the ocean in all its glory. There are superior rooms in buildings called "sakura2. This is an apartment. The hotel is big, but the buildings are not high. Territory, approximately 1 km long along the coast. Not very green. There are no jungles or thickets. However, there are palm trees, flower beds, lawns. Everything is clean and tidy. The hotel has 5 swimming pools, 2 of which are for children. One pool for adults with cool water, which is very handy when the air temperature is under 45 degrees. Everywhere air conditioners, so that the heat is almost not felt.

The hotel has a library, Finnish and Turkish saunas (separately for men, separately for women), a gym, tennis tables, which can be used free of charge. Each room has a refrigerator, plasma TV, free slippers and a bathrobe. You can use the Internet for free from the room through the TV. At the reception, they can say that high-speed Internet costs about 50 derhams per day. However, this is if you came only to play computer games around the clock and watch movies via the Internet. In fact, free Internet is enough to get news, write soap, search for useful information. If you don’t figure it out yourself, ask at the reception to set it up for you.
There are 3 Russian channels, the rest are European and Arabic.
The hotel is more designed for a beach holiday.
The beach is just huge, on which the number of people who are in the hotel dissolves and they are simply not noticeable. The beach is sandy, not very deep. There are no boat stops, so the sea is clean, without fuel oil.

Food
They feed a lot. Dishes are enough. Only the menu does not change. So it gets a little boring at the end. For breakfast, there are always freshly squeezed juices from oranges, pineapples and grapefruits. Apple juice from a bag.
There are fish, Arabic and Japanese restaurants on site. It's just unreasonably expensive to eat in them. Pizza and tea cost $32. Meals in a Japanese restaurant start at $80. So for lunch you pay about 30-50 dollars. There are also nuances in the all-inclusive meal, for example, food for 150 derhams ($ 50) is paid by the hotel, you pay the rest yourself. But you can safely take only breakfast.
In the village of Dibba (10 minutes drive from the hotel) there is a supermarket and a hypermarket where you can buy food, drinks, some things and souvenirs. There is also a wonderful restaurant Al Nouman (taxi drivers know everything), where you can eat up a variety of delicious meat dishes and without them for 10-20 dollars for two. The portions are just huge, they cook cleanly, the waiters are smiling and helpful. The restaurant also attracts by the fact that locals do not sit there. They just drive up in cars from the other side, order food and they take it out ready. A hall made for people like us, small, cozy.
In the nearby Holiday Beach Motel, which is right behind the sakura, there is a semi-legal store where you can buy alcohol: whiskey, cognac, beer, wine, vodka. Everything is of good quality, not a pallet. It's just that alcohol is not sold anywhere else, only in dutiks. The prices are normal.

Entrance to the store: if you are facing the entrance to the motel, where the central gate is, you must immediately turn right, as if into a utility yard, go straight and the last house is the store.

Pledge
You have to bargain for a deposit. As a rule, at the reception, they are immediately asked to put a maximum amount of $ 600 per room. However, this amount can be significantly reduced. And in general, if you refuse the minibar, ask to clean everything, then you can easily ask for a deposit back or simply not give it. It just has to be done politely. It is necessary to lay down a deposit in dollars, they give it back in derhams. The course at the hotel is not profitable: 1 USD. – 3.3. derham. In the city 3.67.

Currency exchange
It is better to do in settlements. More profitable course. There are many exchangers. Opening hours from 9 to 13 and from 16 to 20.

Movements
It's best to take a taxi. The hotel has a taxi call service. To Dibba it costs 50 derhams and back too.
But it’s easier to either catch a taxi on the highway, or arrange with a taxi driver to give him his phone number and call him when you need to. The driver will arrive at the appointed time at the hotel and take you where you need to go. It might even wait a bit. Then the road to Dibba costs 12.5 derhams. All taxi drivers have meters. If you want to drive for longer distances, it is better to stock up on a map and clearly show the driver which road to take you on. Sometimes there are tricky ones. For example, our friends took a taxi from Dubai to the hotel for 5 hours, despite the fact that the journey takes a maximum of 2 hours. Just the driver, in order to wind up the kilometers, took them in a circle.
From the hotel there is a free shuttle bus to Dubai on Mondays and Fridays and to Fujairah on Sundays. Conveniently.

Tours
Unreasonably expensive and uninteresting. A trip to Oman is just a yacht trip, more of a beach than an educational one. Don't go on dry land.

Diving is weak, only for beginners. First, a dive near the coast for 3 meters, where you can dive with a mask without any problems, and then you are taken to a lonely rock 500 meters from the coast and immersed to 6 meters. The underwater world is poor, it cannot be compared with the Red Sea and the Caribbean. True, there are turtles, but they can be seen from the shore or pier. For those who like to snorkel, you can go to the right of the hotel towards Fujairah to an abandoned villa and dive there. Not very deep, but there are rocks and corals. There are beautiful fish. Moreover, large fish are also found 100-200 meters from the shore. You can go towards Dibba, turn around the mountain and swim there. It's a little deeper and I thought it was more interesting. It is also interesting to dive right behind the pier. Interesting cuttlefish live there, which, when a person approaches, change color to bright neon and a few moray eels. True lifeguards swear. They say you can't swim there.
Therefore, we woke up at 6 in the morning, dived, and when the rescuers went to work, we were already tired and happy peacefully sunbathing on the beach.
It is better to go to Dubai not on an excursion from a guide, but on your own. Take the free bus to the city. Drop off point Dubai Mall. This is a big mall. When leaving it, there are representatives of the Big Bus company who offer a sightseeing tour. They go to the same places as in the program from the guide, only it costs not 110 dollars, but 60. You can safely take it and go. Cheaper, information in Russian can be listened to through headphones. In any place you like, you can get off the bus, take a walk and sit on the next one. The interval of movement is 30 minutes. Just need to calculate so as not to be late for the bus to the hotel. The bus is not waiting. You can't be late, otherwise you'll have to take a taxi. And this is 80 dollars. There are no pedestrian zones in Dubai, so it is better to move from place to place by taxi.

Behavior rules
Smoking and drinking alcohol is not allowed. Only in the hotel. It is advisable to dress more or less modestly. Miniskirts and tank tops are not allowed. T-shirts, shorts, skirts, open heads are fine. The local population is loyal. Swimwear is also allowed on site. Local men can be photographed with their permission. Women can't. For the image of a woman in the frame, you can even go to jail. However, if caught for the first time and allegedly by accident, the policeman or the woman’s husband will simply ask to erase the image. You can communicate in English. Almost no one knows Russian.
