They arrived at the hotel reception at the beginning of the eleventh, those who took food with dinner immediately ran to the restaurant, but we quickly got a room and left with our suitcases to settle. At first, we were a little upset that they were given a room on the first floor in side building No. 8, instead of a room with a balcony in the main building (they asked for a higher floor with ocean views), but when we opened our room 8012, we looked around, the mood immediately became better, despite all the fatigue from the road.
Everything in the room is as described: spacious, terrace with a table and 2 chairs, nice furniture, large TV with a good set of channels (3 Russian news, 1 music, almost a dozen Arabic sports, but you don’t need more)) tea / coffee set , water, bathrobes / slippers, a safe, even a ironing board with an iron. The mini-bar is paid with prices like in all hotels, after viewing which there is no desire to use it. So, when you exit the room through the terrace, jumping over a couple of meters of lawn, you get to the path for another couple of meters, along which you are on the beach. As it turned out, this location is much more convenient than living in the main building and enjoying the aromas of restaurants.
Kitchen. For those who plan to take all-inclusive, I’ll say that they took breakfast meals not for reasons of economy (they didn’t even print a stick of sausage for a week), but in order to try the local cuisine, and not just the buffet of this hotel.
No one left hungry at breakfast, they did not indulge in abundance, but there was almost always meat like balyk, sausages, mushrooms, omelettes, a lot of vegetables. At the same time, a variety of pastries, freshly prepared yogurts, fruits (at least 3-4 types). The same applies to drinks, the waiters offer a choice of tea / coffee, milk, stable 4 types of juice. The only thing that drew attention was the focus on local Arab vacationers. The food from Thursday to Sunday is clearly an order of magnitude higher, and from Monday to Thursday there was a feeling that you were eating up what the local guests of the hotel had not eaten during the Arab weekend. Upon arrival on Friday night, I didn’t feel like having dinner at all, but on Sunday and Saturday the kitchen for dinner with the announcement of “seafood days” pleased me. Pilaf with mussels, then with shrimp, bast shoes of red fish fried and smoked, artichokes, beef / pork in 2 positions, nowhere without chicken); all kinds of grilled vegetables, other side dishes.
And plus everything desserts and fruits went with a bang. After a trip to Dubai 50 AED ($14, carried on Mondays and Wednesdays), we booked immediately upon check-in, we didn’t want to have dinner at the hotel, especially after breakfast it was already clear that it’s not worth catching something like it was on the weekend . By this time, they already knew that there was a gas station with a minimarket and a small burger shop exactly across the road from the hotel, where you can easily buy all the essentials and food. Especially in the subject were juices, and several types in different containers. Juices from melon, kiwi are not often found here, especially if the quality of their production has a shelf life of only 2-3 weeks!! ! and the price is 2-3 dirhams (± 6 UAH) for half a liter and 5-6 dirhams for a liter and a half. Here, in front of you, they compose (all products are optional), prepare and give out different sizes of burgers for every taste, the price is pleasant from 18 dirhams, which makes it quite inexpensive to have a bite.

The following days, before the end of the holiday, we dined at the nearby hotel Le Meridien. Like heaven and earth ...There is no blockage of various nonsense, they spread a little of everything, but if the roll, then with red fish, if the salad, then with shrimp or tuna, and even ordinary meat dishes were presented at the highest level, not to mention the first dishes and side dishes. The quality of desserts is also incomparable, except for baking)) Rotanovsky buns are at their best, though when they were served fresh, they put out “yesterday's” mixed with fresh ones a couple of times. And this is on Arab weekdays. On Thursday, when the locals again poured onto the ocean coast, in Le Meridien, the cuisine simply struck on the spot. When choosing a table, the waiter drew our attention to the fact that a terrace with a grill was open.
We think that any chicken is fried in Turkey, it wasn’t there, there were huge tiger prawns (including those fried in sauce inside the restaurant), squids, fish and meat skewers. At the same time, in the restaurant itself, the choice of meat dishes, seafood, salads, soups has not decreased in any way, but on the contrary, it has even been replenished with new dishes. It’s hard to remember and list all THIS during lunchtime working hours, but this is a really high level of cooking, which, when choosing a hotel, is naturally displayed in the price of the tour. For dinner in Rotana they charge 130 dirhams (35 dollars), in Le Meridien 130-180 dirhams on different days, cheaper on weekdays))) it's definitely worth it.
And then again through our hotel, which, if you do not take the kitchen, left a more pleasant impression than the “gourmet” starwood chain noted above. This is especially true of the territory, everything is in greenery, which is constantly refreshed (and this is at +42 during the day and +30 at night), cut and looked after in every possible way, bridges over the pools.
And the singing of birds during the day was sometimes mesmerizing, especially in the morning. By prior request for the wedding anniversary, the room was decorated with rose petals, towel swans, always skeptical about this moment, but it's really nice! and even more so for women. To everything, they congratulated us with a jelly cake and strawberries with chocolate and cream, to which we had a bottle of rum stored from Duty Free, because we knew that it would not be possible to buy alcohol in the Emirates just like that, except for hotel bars.
Sports activities in the hotel are completely unobtrusive, those who wish to play beach football and volleyball, go to the gym. For us, the joy was a free tennis court, more precisely 2, we specially dragged our rackets, since the rental was paid, the balls were given for free, plus a bottle of cold water per person per game.

In the restaurant, the picture is a little different, everyone is friendly, but if you are sitting at a table in the central zone or you are GERMAN, they will circle around you and the service will be at the level. If you sit closer to the window or you are a Russian speaker, then you will be treated mediocrely, not ignored, but still not like that. The reception staff and guest relation are polite and courteous, they do their job, but they don’t always want to solve problems. Even those that arise through the fault of the hotel itself. Returning to the description of the room, I will say that it is very difficult to dry things at high humidity, and even more so when there are no places designated for this. Therefore, everything is dried on the railings of the second floors, on tables and chairs on the first floors. This is where we got burned.
The wife hung her light bathing suits on the arms of the chairs, and in the morning they were completely covered with brown spots. From the words of the hotel staff, we realized that we are not the first, and not the last. We were tactfully advised to buy Vanish and wash it ourselves. It did not help, no one even hinted at the free dry cleaning, they gave it for cleaning for money. A day later they brought it with an invoice, sign it. They opened the package, and everything was there, as it was, they just washed it. They gave it back, after another half a day they brought it, what they took it out is not clear, but 2 swimsuits turned from white with their brown spots to light gray. Fortunately, we bought another spare before the trip. In it, almost the entire beach part of the vacation was spent by the wife. Change the furniture on the terrace so as not to spoil things for people or organize some kind of dryers! The hotel guide from Al Khalidiah Bella also left a double impression.
We didn’t take any special excursions, we went swimming in the ocean, but we needed help in Dubai. We asked about the cost of booking tickets for the Burj Khalifa, so per person she kindly agreed to help us for 80 dollars.
