Restaurant, bar, fitness center, swimming pool, transfer to the beach - everything is common for three hotels. There are Russian-speaking girls at the reception and at the entrance to the restaurant. Resting without children, we prefer food - breakfast, and apartments for this are a more convenient option.
We immediately received an envelope with the keys to the room. The suitcase was delivered to our room, in which a small compliment awaited us - a plate of fruit. Wi-Fi connects automatically and catches very well throughout the territory, as well as in the room, we could watch movies online.
Our room was on the 4th floor - very large and comfortable, there was a kitchen equipped with everything you need, two toilets, a shower, a bathroom, a living room, a bedroom, 2 TVs, an iron, an ironing board, a clothes dryer, etc. , a view from the room to a beautiful mosque . There are only 7 apartments per floor. Neighbors were seen once in 14 days of rest. No one else can walk on the floor - in the elevator you need to apply a card from the room to get to your floor. You can get to the common floors without a card, so if someone, for example, has a demagnetized key, you can go down to the reception in the elevator, otherwise your friends were not aware and walked from the 22nd floor of the Novotel ((. Room cleaning 2 times a week, then they replenished tea / coffee and shampoos, water was set at 1.5 l / person for 3 days. The staff is attentive, if something was needed, it was worth contacting the reception and they immediately reacted.
Meals - we took only breakfast, they are good, satisfying, but monotonous. From fruits there were apples, oranges, melons, watermelon and fruit salad, there are yogurts, breakfast cereals, toast, croissants, various buns, vegetables, fried bacon, fried and boiled eggs, beans, baked tomatoes, olives, cheeses, ham, smoked mackerel etc. , delicious coffee and tea.
The beach is a 10 minute drive. There were no problems with the transfer, a minibus goes every half an hour, even if 1 person wants to go, they will take him without problems. The last one back from the beach is at 2:00 pm. Unfortunately, there is no shower, no toilet, no changing rooms on the beach, only palm trees, under which we safely hid from the sun. It is very convenient that the hotel gave out a bag with beach accessories, namely for two, 2 towels, 2 bottles of water 0.5 l, a double beach mat-bag. They give out near the pool, on the security of a card from the room and an entry in the journal.
In the sports bar in the evenings there is live music, 3 times a week, for girls they give 5 free cocktails - alcoholic or non-alcoholic, if desired. Halloween was a pool party, live music, costumed staff, beautiful decorations, drinks and snacks. . .
The pool for three hotels is shared, when there was a storm for a couple of days and there was no transfer to the beach, it was difficult to find a free sun lounger. We put things on a high chair and swam in the pool, places were always vacated by dinner.
For our wedding anniversary they brought us a greeting card to our room, a small cake and 2 different juices. It was very nice, thanks to the staff for the compliment.
There are many shops and supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. Across the road is the nearest LULU, but we often went behind the mosque, there are 2 streets with shops. In addition to grocery, there are from 0.95 to 9.95 dirhams, from 1 to 20 dirhams and others with industrial and food products. In half an hour you can walk to the alcohol market - the main thing is to know where to go. We took a taxi from the hotel back and forth for 30 dirhams (the taxi was waiting at the store).
In the city, as elsewhere in the Emirates, there are few footpaths, and drivers do not really stop at the crossings, so be careful when crossing the road. And the road is being repaired near the hotel, it is not possible to cross it everywhere, but we got used to it and knew how and where to go faster.
We had a flight home at 4 am, and the room had to be vacated at 12 noon, but, thank you, we extended the room for free until 4 pm (we remagnetized the time on the key). We took the suitcases to the storage room and were by the pool until 9 pm. After we went in, sat in the bar, drank our 5 cocktails on the path). At 11 p. m. , Toyota came for us - we were taken to the airport together, we arrived exactly in an hour.
We were satisfied with the hotel and our stay. We celebrated our anniversary well, thanks to my husband for such a gift.
