I am writing for people like me (those who choose for a long time, suspicious and doubting; comparing with rest in Sharm rather than in the Maldives).
I don’t write about vacations-flights (this is not here). Settlement - immediately, 15-20 minutes. Things were brought into the room. The room was given on the 27th floor, a view of the center. Number: everything (exactly everything) is beautiful, sooo new (no one has lived there before us! ). Kitchenette with everything you need for cooking (and everything is new). But we didn't prepare. Bathroom is new and beautiful. Hairdryer was given on request, brought in 15 minutes. Towels are new. Soap, shampoo - as much as they wanted (we gave the cleaning lady twice a dollar, but when we just asked, she also gave a lot). There are two restaurants, BUT! I got the impression that Russians (well, the CIS) were not particularly wanted at the restaurant on the roof) We were signed up there only after talking with the restaurant manager. But recorded : ). Food. Comrades, who wrote the food is bad - you either got such a period, or you eat red caviar for breakfast at home. I can only speak about breakfast. So: scrambled eggs (didn’t eat, but looked fresh), something like potato pancakes - ate (tasty, fresh), beans (didn’t eat), stewed chicken meat with sweet peppers (delicious), a day later - beef carcass meat. (very tasty. ), hard cheeses of a couple of types (taste. ), sausage (did not eat), feta, tomatoes, fresh cucumbers and without nitrates (my body feels), olives, yogurts (delicious), dried fruits (3 types) , always melon (not very sweet), watermelon (fresh and sweet, ripe), maybe I forgot something. Coffee and tea are brought by waiters with a cute question: "coffee, tea, madam? "
Cleaning in the room every day, good, towels did not understand how they were changed (they were always clean). they even washed the dishes for us, it was even a shame sometimes : )) plasma TV, there is air conditioning. the interior is absolutely beautiful, the furniture is all new, as shown in the pictures in "Natalie Tours" - it is. humidity in the room (as they wrote somewhere that it was humid in February) - there was none at all.

more about the hotel: it’s really beautiful, I don’t remember how many official classifications it has, but in my opinion it definitely draws on 4 * (I don’t know how by Dubai standards, but by Egyptian standards - so for sure). The pool is coldish water, but clean, the gym is small (but there is enough space - no one goes), but modern.
Small remarks: sometimes you wait for the elevator for 5 minutes. (but in our houses with such a number of storeys you can expect even more), and sometimes there was an unpleasant smell from the ventilation duct in the lobby of our apartments (but it was a couple of days, and tolerable). Well, the sauna is completely dirty and smells like mold (apparently, ventilation is completely problematic here). So whoever is traveling and wants this kind of rest - a sauna, then a swimming pool - will not work (unpleasantly dirty). No more remarks are remembered.
Farther. vacationers are completely different nations, Slavs (CIS) 30%.
The hotel is located in a normal location, not far from Dubai Marina (promenade), in the Tekom area, metro station - Internet City. Walk 5-7 minutes to the subway. By metro you can quickly (4 stops) get to the beaches (both free and paid), but after leaving the metro you have to walk min. 10-15 walking steps and here is the beach for you. We did not get to the beach that the bus takes from the hotel (we had a long breakfast : )). But the beach is still paid, so we went by metro on our own, wherever we wanted. You can also take a taxi to the beach. It costs approx. 16-17 dirhams. If you want a free beach, then you need to say a taxi stop near the Movenpick hotel (it's in the area of the Dubai Marina promenade). But be aware: there is nothing on the free beach - no sunbeds, no changing rooms, no lifeguards, nothing, only garbage cans : ) But the guests of the Hilton hotels lay and swam there beautifully. Movenpick, Sofitel. The sea was clean, chilly (about 20 degrees), but we swam. And there are really a lot of cigarette butts on the sand (as it was written somewhere in the reviews).

They also took passports as a deposit, but they could replace them with 100 dirhams. We left our passports, and when we checked out they returned them without any problems (no one illegally attributed broken furniture or the like to us). I won’t write about the rest itself here (this is a review about the hotel), but the rest was good. I will only say one thing - review ex. in Dubai, take in the first days (and not in the last ones, like us : ))), then it will be interesting to inspect for yourself what you were told on exc.
In general, as a result: the hotel is very good considering all the criteria and the cost of the tour - for 11 nights (but 10 days due to late arrival and early departure), at the BB boarding house we paid $ 920 per person. in double room. People who want to save some money can take the Deira area, but look very carefully on the map and ask the travel agency where the hotel is located. and what he is. since we saw the Deira area - a little dirty, the area of u200bu200bhard workers, many hotels are decrepit, the pictures on the operators' websites do not correspond to reality. Although you can choose a hotel a little further from the center of Deira. But, who wants both rest and shopping, take the middle between Deira and Dubai Marina.
