New Dubai "star" - Ain Dubai (Eye of Dubai) on Bluewaters Island
Bluewaters Island in Dubai is a new iconic place on the map of the largest metropolis in the UAE. The island was designed by Meraas Corporation and is finally ready to receive its first visitors. It is connected to The Beach by a spectacular 265-meter bridge.
It is here that Ain Dubai (Eye of Dubai) is located - the world's tallest Ferris wheel with a height of 210 m, which is equivalent to a skyscraper with 57 floors. It can be seen from almost everywhere, and from above, from a cabin that looks like a streamlined space capsule, incredible landscapes of the city open up. Up to 1400 people can be accommodated in 48 booths at the same time. It is planned to install a huge round screen in the center of the wheel, and the attendance of the attraction will be up to 3 million people a year. At the foot of the wheel are business and entertainment centers. The launch of the ferris wheel was scheduled for 2015, but the dates are constantly shifting, now it is spring 2019
Luxury hotels, boutiques, entertainment complexes and restaurants are located on the island. The latter deserve special attention: 132 pavilions in The Wharf sector were built along the boulevard overlooking the Persian Gulf. Among them there are not only gourmet restaurants, but also unique conceptual bistros.
There were also residences. They are united in the Bluewaters Residences complex, numbering 10 towers, which house 698 apartments, 4 multi-room penthouses and 17 townhouses. The owners of the penthouses will admire the panoramas of the bay and the skyscrapers of Dubai; part of the apartments overlooks the Ain Dubai Ferris wheel. The first wave of transfer of control is scheduled for December 2018, which means that in the first quarter of 2019 the island will be ready to receive the first residents. The residence owners will have gyms, swimming pools, landscaped gardens, playgrounds for children, basketball courts, and a modern-style mosque built on the territory of the complex.
The island has more than 2.000 parking spaces, both underground and at the level of the main podium.
