I was going to rest in Dubai at the City Max Barsha hotel. But the hotel was not confirmed, nor was the other selected hotel confirmed. The "Sandras Inn" hotel was suggested and received very few reviews. There was no time to choose anything else and I had to agree. What, after the rest, I do not regret. The hotel for the "troika" is not bad at all: it was opened in 2003; The furniture is not new but good quality. In the room - TV, mini-fridge, safe, air conditioning. The rooms are very dark - closed curtains on the windows, not enough light (lighting). Combined bathroom - bathtub, toilet bowl with bidet function and washbasin; it has everything you need: soap, shampoos, gels, disposable razors, a toothbrush, etc. Above the bath there is a rope for drying "linen". The linen dries quickly. You can take your clothes to the laundry. Towels (3 per person) are changed every day, they are quite clean; bed linen - every three days (every other day I left a "tip"). It is better to ask the "cleaner" for the adapter and everything else. The hotel staff does not speak Russian and does not really understand, but English "school level" is quite enough. The staff is generally very friendly and efficient, except for one - "lady with glasses" at the reception. I took half board: breakfast and lunch. They cook very tasty and varied, especially dinners (lunches), simpler breakfasts. Soup is always prepared for lunch; meat (chicken, beef), fish in batter; amazing rice; potatoes, stewed beans, pasta; lasagna - above all praise! Fritters and pancakes, vegetable and meat stews and more. For dessert - fruit salads, watermelons, croissants, muffins, jellies and mousses. Very tasty juices: orange and mango. You will never be hungry, unless, of course, you are picky. No one had stomach problems. Everyone was very pleased with the food. The rating of the hotel is a solid "four"!
The restaurant "Golden Folk" (at the hotel) prepares very tasty seafood dishes and there - excellent beer. Before resting, it would be nice to repeat the basics of English in order to communicate in restaurants, taxis, subways, shopping malls and other places. The hotel is a bit noisy: centrally located, 2 nightclubs and the Golden Fork restaurant; therefore it is better to ask for rooms above the 5th floor and a view - into the courtyard. The hotel is very well located: on Nasser Square, in the center of the shopping district, shopping streets fan out from the hotel. Nearby is an excellent fur trade center "Abrazh" (many of our compatriots bought excellent Greek fur coats there. They did not like the "Planet of Fur": it was expensive). Right next to the hotel is the metro station "Baniyas", from which you can quickly get to any Mall or something else. At the metro station "Salah Al Din" (2 stops from Baniyas) is the shopping center "Ansar" and the shopping center "Gureirn" is being built, in the same place - "Gift Villadge". At the metro station "UNION" (ONE STATION FROM "BANIYAS") - shopping center "GUREYR" and others. Very interesting: shopping center "Ibn Batuta" - interior; overview: in Abu Dhabi, Dubai. Excursion to Burj Khalifa, aquarium in Dubai Mall. Bottom line - I would like to return to Dubai! Although, I don't like going back! I like everything new!
