1. Cost. The hotel cost us 50 thousand for two (without the cost of visas). Fresh Room.
The hotel is located in the Deira area. The metro is a 20-minute quiet walk along the Al Khalee road on which the hotel is located (Palm Deira station) or a little more in blocks (Union station).
The area is working, a lot of Indians and other Asians, but calm and safe. We don't seem to be that relaxed. Yes, they look, and even wrap their heads (at first it infuriated and annoyed the wife, and then stopped paying attention to them), but they don’t stick and don’t allow themselves anything like that.
And the area itself looks very neat. There are simply no skyscrapers and the first floors of buildings are occupied by cafes and shops. All this sparkles with lights at night.
You can easily catch a taxi (necessarily a sand-colored car with a colored roof). Why exactly? A car without checkers and coloring (often a Lexus) can drive up to you (or they can offer you in malls), so, refuse. Rip off at exorbitant prices, these cars don't have a meter. Although, the taxi driver is a diagnosis. And the state ones also strive to take you by a long road, so that it would be more expensive. But here you can at least keep track of how much has run over the counter. Yes, and cheaper, anyway, will be.
By the way, upon check-in we were given a business card with directions to the hotel. It came in handy when communicating with taxi drivers and figuring out how to get to the hotel.
2. The hotel makes a very pleasant impression both externally and internally. I don't know if I should describe it all, the photos speak for themselves. Let me just say that the hotel really looks modern, stylish and concise. And it really stands out from the rest of the building. Inside, everything is decided in the same vein: multi-colored floors, modern design, glass elevators, neon lights.
On the roof there is an outdoor heated pool (in the morning the water in it was +36). SPA.
A beautiful cafe on the roof (although the prices are there... beer 0.33 - 250 rubles, the rest is in the same spirit) overlooking the Persian Gulf. True, the bay itself is not visible because of the bulk island (as far as I understand, there will be another palm island in this place). So there will be no gorgeous view from the window, alas! However, I advise you to ask for a room on the side of the street and the bay, the view is definitely more pleasant. Our room overlooked the opposite side and the view rested on the neighboring building, where the Indians lived and others like them.
The hotel has no territory. You go straight out into the street. However, this seems to be a hallmark of all hotels in Deira.
3. Number. Beautiful, stylish, modern. All control touch buttons. A little unusual, but comfortable.
Huge bed (probably 2.5 meters wide and a chic mattress). A table along the entire wall, a mirror and a TV, opposite the bed (channel Russia in two versions and, oddly enough, Chanson. The rest is in the non-Nash dialect).
By the window there is a table and two easy chairs. The window does not open, but there is air conditioning.
Large built-in wardrobe (with hangers and shelves). Safe, fridge, kettle (tea and coffee were included).
In the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel (in original boxes), soap, cotton pads and sticks, shower cap. Bathrobes, towels for hands, body and feet.
A couple of downsides:
- there are no hangers for drying clothes;
- spot lighting. Beautiful, original, but dark.
4. The staff is smiling, friendly, efficient. We were taken to the hotel last from the flight and we arrived at the hotel at about 14.00. So they settled us instantly, we didn’t have to wait for anything or anyone. We were promptly given the keys and carried our suitcases to our room. Showed, told (in English) what, where and how.
The room was cleaned every day. They changed linen, towels, etc. They wiped dust, etc. When cleaning, they put drinking water (0.5 l), but for some reason one bottle, although there were two of us. We did not focus on this, because still bought water in a 5l bottle. for drinking (by the way, only 30-35 rubles for our money).
The request to bring an iron and a board was responded to within 10-15 minutes. True, they were constantly taken away during cleaning.
In general, the workers smiled and said hello. The attitude was gratifying.
5. Nutrition. We only had breakfast. Breakfast from 6.30-09.30. They came during the rest at different times, and so, even at the end of this time, there was enough food, there was no feeling that you were eating up what was left.
There were sausages, eggs in different variations (the chef can also make you an omelette in front of you), sliced sausages, feta cheese, cheese, deep-fried rolls with different fillings, beans in different sauces, fresh vegetables and fruits, canned fruits, the freshest sweet pastries, bread , tea, boiled coffee, orange and apple juices. There were also muesli and milk. You can't remember everything. But during the rest of the menu, we were not at all bored and not tired.
That's like everything about the hotel. Might have missed something.
Ask questions if anyone doesn't understand something.
But we were not at all disappointed in our choice.
P. S. By the way! Aircraft. They flew often and low. But they didn't bother us at all. We hardly noticed them. At least on the second floor.
