The room is large, double bed, 2 armchairs, a coffee table and a desk, there is a TV (though strangely not LCD), 2 Russian channels ORT and RBC, a safe is free, there is no balcony, a mini-bar is paid, even water, a kettle in the room and tea, coffee bags. The furniture is quite new, a large bathroom with a hairdryer, no bathrobe and slippers. They clean and change towels in the room daily, as well as replenish tea, coffee, shampoo, shower gel, etc. Moreover, what is important, they were cleaned in the morning, when I was on the beach, so after dinner, during the rest, no one broke into the room. I lived on the 7th floor, the last one (deluxe room), only a swimming pool (small) and a fitness center are above - I have never been, so I can’t say anything. Internet is paid (there is a cable and Wi-Fi) - 10 derhams for 1 hour or 250 mb, depending on what you spend earlier, and one more thing - you need to use it in 2 days, then the login / password will be deactivated.
Food - put 3, because for a 4 * hotel there was not enough variety in food and the availability of vegetables, fruits, meat dishes and seafood (I have been in many hotels / countries, there is something to compare with). I took half board, in this hotel it is breakfast and lunch (buffet), you can choose breakfast and dinner (from the menu), but I do not recommend this to anyone, I will explain why below. Of course, I made allowances that this is far from Turkey / Egypt, where they are fed to slaughter, but having only watermelon for breakfast with fruit, and for lunch only fruit dessert is very poor, in other hotels it was much better. From vegetables there were only tomatoes for breakfast, and for lunch 2-3 salads - one of the fresh vegetables, sometimes Caesar (without chicken / shrimp) only lettuce, cheese and crackers - I wonder where they saw this. Also for breakfast there was scrambled eggs, cereals, yogurt, 2 types of juice and fried sausages or bacon, there was no sausage / ham / cheese. Another biscuit, croissants, rolls, tea / coffee. For lunch - there were always several types of side dishes (rice, potatoes, spaghetti), from hot dishes - fish (very tasty by the way), chicken, fried vegetables and sometimes meat (but it would be better not to have it because it was cooked badly). Also good pastries and water, other drinks are not given for lunch. Hot dishes are very spicy, they do not spare red and black pepper. In general, I never left hungry, but there was not enough variety. Now about why I do not recommend taking dinner with an à la carte order. On the first day upon arrival, I was late for lunch and, with the help of a guide and negotiations with the hotel manager, I managed to persuade them to have dinner. When ordering from the menu at dinner, half of the dishes were not available, as a result, they brought me 2 sandwiches with inedible meat and hot - french fries with the same meat, it was not possible to chew and eat it. I even thought that it was revenge for the fact that I managed to chat them up to replace lunch with dinner, or maybe the chefs had already left and they warmed me up in the microwave, I don’t know, but I don’t recommend anyone to have dinner at the hotel. By the way, there was no one else at the dinner except me.
The location for a city hotel is very good - right in the center of Deira, 5 min. from the metro station and the very lively Al Rigga street with many shops, cafes / restaurants / bistros. If you leave the hotel on Al Rigga, then on the right there will be a metro station of the same name, the Russian restaurant "Arbat" (the food is delicious - dinner is about 70 derhams per person), the restaurant "Golden Fork" is also good, especially grilled dishes (I took a sea mix and shrimp - 50 derhams, large dishes, served with a side dish), "Burger King", "KFC", several pizzerias and many other cafes. On the left is the Russian restaurant "Fantasy" and if you go further, then across the road there is a large souvenir shop, clothes, and much more at ridiculous prices. There is another such store right at the metro station on the opposite side of the street. Al Rigga. You can walk from the hotel to the famous Nasser / Baniyas Square - 20-25 minutes walk to the right along Al Rigga, by the way, at the end of the street there will be a large Al Gurer Mall, you need to go around it on the left and through a small square with a fountain go along Al Maktoum Street to Baniyaz Square . You can also get to it by metro - 2 stops, 6 derhams there and back. Baniyaz Square has everything - fur coats, electronics, watches, clothes, shoes, etc. , though don't look for branded boutiques there - it's in the malls. From Baniyaz Square, you can walk to the Gold Souk (Gold Souk), Spice Market (Old Souk) and the Fish Market if you walk down the street when exiting the subway.
From the hotel, the bus goes to Al Mamzar beach every day - at 9 am there and back at 12.30, you don’t need to sign up anywhere, but it’s better to come 5-10 minutes in advance, because. the bus runs strictly on schedule, and on Fridays it takes you to Jumeirah Beach at the same time. He also travels several times a day to Deira City Center and on different days of the week to other malls. From the beach you can take a taxi - 20 derhams.
Perhaps that's all, there will be questions write.
