We vacationed in Dubai in December 2013. We stayed at the Comfort Inn Hotel Apartments. This hotel is located a 5-minute walk from Dubai Internet City Metro Station. The hotel has a gym, an outdoor pool on the terrace of the restaurant where breakfast was served, and an indoor pool on the top floor, a sauna. The hotel restaurant serves Indian and Arabic dishes. The hotel also has a Starbucks Cafe serving light snacks and hot and cold coffees. We lived on the 13th floor in a two-room apartment, which had a bedroom with a private bathroom with all toiletries and a toilet; spacious living area with flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, sink) and a separate toilet. The bedroom also had a flat screen TV. The apartments were cleaned daily. The breakfasts were delicious, plentiful and varied. Lunch or dinner in the room, bought groceries in a 24-hour supermarket located on the ground floor of the hotel. We got to the city paid beach from the hotel and back by a special bus (free of charge) according to the schedule or sometimes by taxi. The proximity of the hotel to the metro station is very advantageous - you can quickly get to the sights of the city and to shopping centers. We really liked the nearby (1-2 metro stops) Emirates Mall. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. The impression from this hotel remains only good. We dream of visiting Dubai again and staying at the same hotel.
