We settled in the Citimax Bur Dubai hotel not of our own free will, but by accident, due to the postponement of the day of departure by the tour operator. We spent only one day there, before that we lived in Auris First Central for a week. After that hotel, Citymax certainly looked weaker - 630 rooms in the hotel versus 230 in the one where we were, which means a crowd of people near the entrance, in the lobby. The rooms themselves are smaller, with a bathroom and a corridor - 20 m2. Some rooms overlook a construction site (in particular, ours is noisy at night). Some into the courtyard - where the distance to neighboring windows is 20-40 meters. The room looked shabby despite being generally clean.

Clean bed, towels, but the washbasin valve does not work - someone is broken, the remote control from the TV must have been thrown by drunken guests from the CIS against the wall, the ceiling can be seen that they were tinting it, it was either smeared with something, or smoked, the kettle was also a broken cover and a non-working shutdown relay.

It can be seen that the staff is trying as best they can, and the guests just destroy everything in their path.

It can be seen that in order to constantly change everything that guests can break, the hotel administration has no money. This is the problem of a hotel with a relatively low price - it gives access to not very adequate visitors, after which there are more losses than income.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Al-Karama metro station. There are 5 stations to go to Burj Khalifa. But you can walk to the Creek (bay) in 20-25 minutes, where there are many tourist attractions - a souvenir market, spices, a museum in the fort and an old village. You need to go through the quarters where there is a residential building in terms of level close to our Khrushchevs, but with an Arab-Pakistani-Indian flavor.
