What to see in Abu Dhabi (part 2)
We were on our way to Abu Dhabi for the specific purpose of visiting the only Ferrari entertainment center in the world, recently built on Yas Island. Yas Island is located at some distance from the city center, but since taxis are available in the Emirates even for the most fastidious and economical tourist, getting there will not be difficult. We lived in a hotel in the very center of the island, the windows of the room overlooked the Formula 1 Yas Marina track. For an F1 fan, this is a real blessing, believe me, even if there are no races at the moment. From the hotel to the center of Ferrari 10 minutes on foot. The center opens at 11 or 12 in the morning, I don’t remember exactly, but you need to arrive at the opening, then you can avoid queues. If you are a fan of motorsport and royal racing, this is the place for you. What to tell, you need to go there! And yet, I consider it a duty of every tourist to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. This miracle defies description, and not because of my tongue-tied tongue, but simply because no words can describe the beauty, richness and grandeur of this masterpiece! The world's largest Persian carpet covering the entire floor of a huge mosque, chandeliers decorated with Swarovski stones, gilding of the columns and God knows what else. Entrance is free when there is no "service" (I don't remember what the Muslims call it). You need to arrive by 10 am, better on your own, again, by taxi, a huge number of tourist buses arrive later, and you cannot avoid queues. Here, briefly, and all. Ask questions, I'll try to answer.
