We rested with a large family (me, husband, children 3 years old, 8 years old, my parents and nephews 6 years old and 10 years old. I liked it very much. We were warmly greeted. We quickly settled in nearby small, but very cozy and comfortable houses. Of the shortcomings, if you find fault , not a comfortable shower (water does not drain well, there is a puddle if you don’t sweep it into the drain) and the lack of a crib for a small child (sleeping on a folding chair), but for us these were trifles... Linen was changed 3 times in 2 weeks, plus on request, without any problems, they additionally changed the baby sheet. Towels, 2 for each person - large and small, were also changed 3 times and did not refuse to change at the request. You can take the towel to the beach. The hotel area is well-groomed, beautiful plants, cut grass, lighting in the evening. Huge sandy beach, the entrance to the sea is a strip of pebbles about 30-50 cm, then the sandy bottom. True, the beach could be cleaned better, there is garbage. It is clear that tourists litter - they throw bottles, cigarette butts, cups, but when t You don’t litter yourself, watch closely that children don’t litter, then you want cleanliness. . . then. There is still a small minus - when the wind is from the side of the Kyalasur River, the water in the sea becomes colder. For an adult, this is not scary, but it is cold for small children, and the water is not cool evenly, but in layers. 10 minutes walk along the coast and the water is absolutely warm. . . The biggest minus of the beach is dogs, but since we love animals-))), we were treated quite calmly. . . they didn’t attack or bite, and if the children didn’t bring them sausage from breakfast, they probably wouldn’t fit at all. . . The nature around is gorgeous - pines, cypresses, palm trees, oleanders, eucalyptus trees. Dolphins swim past the shore in the morning. . . Food for us usually does not cause problems. We took breakfast at the boarding house, everything is very tasty, though there is no choice of porridge-)), but this was only a problem for my daughter - she doesn’t eat oatmeal-)), but the problem was solved by scrambled eggs and sandwiches with butter and cheese. . . We tried lunches and dinners, not bad, but as in the dining room, you won’t get to know the national cuisine, so we dined in a restaurant at the boarding house or in Apatskhe across the road (10 minutes of leisurely walking along green spaces). Everything was delicious, cooked with love. . In Apatskhe, there is live music in the evenings and sometimes even a young girl dances national dances. We dined more often in the room - a tomato salad with cheese or cottage cheese, as well as fruit or ordered pizza - a mini-pizzeria at the exit from the boarding house - 5 minutes walk - fresh pizza or khachapur, which are baked right in front of you, rolling out the dough. Since we had small children, we did not go far, like Ritsa. We visited New Athos, ordering an excursion to Apsua-tour, a representative of which is daily at the boarding house. We went very comfortably in a minibus - we visited the monastery, climbed into the cell-grotto of Simon the Canonite, drove into a park with a swan lake and the apotheosis of the trip was a grandiose cave. A young, but very diligent and loving guide = tour guide all the way talked about the country, customs, history, sights with enthusiasm, sorry for not remembering the name. . . Thank you! Independently on a trolley bus (fare 5 rubles-)) we went to the Sukhum Botanical Garden and visited the monkey nursery. The children were wildly delighted with both outlandish plants and monkeys that could be hand-fed-)) Back in Sukhum, they bought a trip on a sailing yacht with swimming in the open sea - the children really wanted to. . . The general impression of Abkhazia is wonderful - hospitable kind people, gorgeous sea and rich nature. For the first time in many years, I was sad to leave my vacation. . . as if saying goodbye to a friend. . . this happened only in childhood.....Even the departure itself was wonderful. We ordered an individual transfer, the wonderful Ashot drove us, even he, whose task was to "take" us out of Abkhazia-)) tried to make it as comfortable as possible. Vacation was a success! Thanks everyone!! ! Perhaps we will never come to the Kyalasur boarding house again, but only because there are other places in Abkhazia that we want to visit, next time it will most likely be Pitsunda. . . I would like to comment on previous reviews. Everything worked in our house - water, electricity, internet, TV with several channels, including. Russian, although we only watched the news every other day and cartoons on the Carousel - to calm the children before going to bed. . .
