My family and I stayed at this hotel in June 2016. Everyone was very pleased. I would like to convey a huge thank you to the staff of this hotel, the cook and the barbecue (mutton-SUPER), and, of course, the director of the hotel: KEEP IT UP!! ! You have no equal, you are true professionals! I wish you health and further prosperity.

We would not recommend anyone to opt for the Raida Hotel, located in the old Gagra. If you arrive in your own car, be prepared to re-park it every day based on the wishes of the parking attendants, each with their own vision. If you say that you do not plan to drive, they will find a place for you in the corner and block other cars, in which case they will not bother you, but you can forget about sitting down and driving without unnecessary gestures.

The safe was opened for us for a day (why it was closed at the time of our entry, that is, it was not ready, we did not understand) and they opened it only at the third request. When asked why it took so long, they explained to us: "We are busy. " On the first day, it turned out that there was a railway next to the hotel, literally 30 meters from the hotel. Electric trains run many times a day, but the travel agency "forgot" to say about this. Your holiday will be decorated with ants crawling out of holes in the floor. Each evening spent at the hotel will be accompanied by a playlist from the waterside cafe, where music is played from 20 to midnight very loudly. So loud that we could only fall asleep in earplugs. Assortment of music "we're going to the village to a disco, we're taking our music library" and "getting high". Sometimes you can get "clean" dirty towels and forget (or fail) to refill your shampoo and shower gel. A local bar can call you to live saxophone music by turning on a hard "plywood". Specifically, in our room, in view of its remoteness, Wi-fi did not break through, and it is unrealistically hot to sit in a file, since there is no air conditioning. The food seems to be good, but my wife had heartburn, which was not observed before. If you are late for a meal, you may hear "it's over" about a dish or sauce. There is no brewed coffee or juice even at breakfast, even for money. There are not enough tables in the dining room for so many people. Sometimes I had to wait. The neighbors broke the key in the lock, and I became an unwitting witness that the administrator began to explain to the guest how bad it was, since the keys to the rooms are in one copy, there are no duplicates, and you see, the original keys were made in Turkey. Is there really no 3.000 rubles in the hotel budget for making duplicate keys for 30 rooms?? ? Other neighbors were forced to pay for a sheet on which some stains were allegedly found, and when they refused to pay, they were forced to “wash out” the stains by hand in a basin! How is this at all?? ? On the second day of our vacation, the trash can disappeared from the beach and it began to foul before our eyes. Nobody cleans it up. In general, after a few days, there is a strong feeling that the hotel management has laid the vector of austerity on everything! We cannot say that there are no pluses in this hotel, but it makes no sense to talk about them, bearing in mind the minuses described above. The disadvantages could be partially offset by the human attitude of the staff, but here the Raida employees have big problems. A very unfriendly attitude from most of the employees only reinforces the negative impression of this place. We strongly do not recommend to everyone !! ! Director Rafael Manchevich, it would be worthwhile to reconsider something in the work of the hotel staff and service conditions.

Vacations are always planned in advance. Abkhazia is a wonderful, fabulous country with its own characteristics and color. I chose the hotel for a long time and did not regret that I stopped at the "Ride". Those who are looking for wild entertainment and noisy nightlife have nothing to do here. Everything is designed for a relaxing measured rest.

The beach is not crowded, comfortable, located close. The staff is polite, friendly. Linen and towels were changed every three days. We have the most pleasant and warm memories.

Rested for 14 days. In the first building without an elevator. The hotel is wonderful. The rooms are cozy. Correspond to the description. Safe, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, beach mats, 2 blankets, a set of 3 towels, + foot. Soap supplies were replenished every day. Removed cleanly. Linens were changed on schedule.

The staff is attentive, friendly. All issues were resolved quickly! They were not even too lazy to look for the earring I had lost. And found. I am very grateful to the girls for this. The food was very tasty. Breakfast-lunch-buffet. Breakfast: porridge, milk soup, scrambled eggs or eggs. There was also a casserole, dumplings with cottage cheese, sausages, sausage, cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, butter, pancakes, buns, cereal, tea, coffee, milk. For lunch, 2 first courses (the ones we are used to), 2-3 second courses, 2-3 side dishes, 4 salads, sliced vegetables, various snacks (pickles, sprats, herring, there were even mushrooms), a glass of dry red wine and compote. There was always enough. There was only one puncture, when a large company of men arrived with a good appetite. Honestly! You rarely see this! But the kitchen quickly got its bearings, and there were no more such punctures. . Most importantly, the food was delicious and homemade. Special thanks to the chef! The hotel has an open cafe. You could have dinner there, or just sit with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. When it's cool, they will kindly offer you a blanket. Prices are the same as everywhere along the coast. For 100 rubles. for one bookmark you will wash your clothes. Iron in each building on the 2nd floor for free. The territory is well-groomed, there is a small playground. The beach is clean, like the sea, there are huge umbrellas (free of charge), a sunbed cost 100 rubles. There are small inflatable children's pools, showers, a volleyball court. We weren't really lucky. Before our arrival there was a strong storm and the racks were demolished. Of course, they were restored, but the company somehow did not gather to play volleyball. The downside of the hotel is the road on one side and the railway on the other. They stretch all along the coast. It didn't bother us. There are not many cars, and trains pass 2-3 times during the daytime. We were more disturbed by the music from the Rusalka cafe, which is opposite. But if you take a room with a view of the mountains, then you can not hear it. By the way, the sea is visible from the fourth floor.

New, clean, beautiful hotel, not at all typical for Abkhazia, reminiscent of a small hotel in Turkey. A cozy playground, a good summer cafe, you can dine without leaving the hotel, because. You can’t find such a service throughout Gagra in any cafe. Before going, I read a lot of reviews, I can refute them.

Someone writes about the highway next to the hotel, but for us, even with children, this did not cause any inconvenience, because. there is a zebra, and the territory is fenced off. There was music in the cafe until 00:00, but the children easily fell asleep, although the windows overlooked the cafe, because. the staff may have deliberately set very calm pleasant melodies. I will not write about the shortcomings of Gagra itself, a lot has already been said about the indifference of local residents and the country's leadership in relation to natural and Soviet sights. Ideal for a quiet family holiday. In Gagra for the third time, but the service only in Raida pleased. People do not waste money and nerves on boarding houses !!!! !

We were at the Raida hotel with my husband and little son, we were extremely unlucky with the window number and the balcony went out to the cafe owned by the owner of the hotel with noise until 12 at night, we had to put up with it because we were told this was normal and they would not expel visitors, but it turned out not the limit is two nights in a row Dear guests of the owner of the hotel celebrated someone's birthday there, respectively, with dancing, songs, screams and the clink of glasses until three in the morning, and We are guests, as it turned out later, "Russian pigs" who, if something does not suit you, go out of the hotel and command at your place, otherwise we’ll pull it out on the beach and drown it in the sea, no one will find it.

There are such friendly and welcoming people and attitude towards guests. . . Arriving at the room, we found that there was no promised shower cabin, but there was a shower head right next to the toilet bowl and sink, they responded to our request to hang oilcloth with lightning speed after 5 days. And to the remark why there are so many flies in the dining room that sit right on the food, they said, well, it immediately stinks, we open the windows and they fly, apparently they are not yet familiar with anti-mosquito nets there. Vacation was ruined!

Hotel "Raida" in my opinion is not intended for recreation. Despite the fact that the hotel itself is not very bad: good repair, furniture, new appliances, a small but well-groomed area, you can’t relax in this hotel. Hotel "Raida" in my opinion is not intended for recreation. Despite the fact that the hotel itself is not very bad: good repair, furniture, new appliances, a small but well-groomed area, you can’t relax in this hotel. Firstly, the location: on one side of the hotel there is a road (moreover, this is the route along which Abkhazia communicates with Russia). on the other hand, right above the hotel there is a railway along which trains (local and Russian Railways) run several times a day. On the other two sides there is a construction site for hotels (the construction is frozen but they do not decorate the landscape). In the middle of all this (in the hotel bar) crazy and almost around the clock yelling (and believe me, this is not an exaggeration) crazy music. What does it scream at, so if you close the windows, then you may not hear the TV unless you make it much louder. No conversations, negotiations, etc. can't make this music quieter. A local DJ, a boy in his 20s, considers it a matter of honor to keep the music as loud as possible. The bar-restaurant itself starts working at 19 o'clock. But the music turns on around 11 and does not turn off until 24 o'clock. The time may be childish, but given the possible time difference (we had 3 hours) and the presence of children, then staying at the hotel during this period is simply impossible. Get enough sleep, just relax in the room for an hour or two a day, sleep in the afternoon for children: IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! . And in fact, it doesn’t matter if there is a repair or not. I had to just leave the hotel and wander around the neighborhood or on the beach.
As for the food, it's not bad. calculated for all categories. you can feed the children and eat yourself. The lack of juices and the very limited amount of fruit (very strange apples and pears - small and sour, and watermelon) upsets.
But for dinner in the restaurant itself there is a very limited menu (the oven broke and it was not repaired in 10 days).
In general, if you are not deaf and not a fan of various noise effects, then I do not recommend you go there, especially with children.
And if you don’t want to be in a room and are going to the sea, I think you shouldn’t overpay, since accommodation in this hotel is not cheap by the standards of Abkhazia.

We stopped at the Raida Hotel, the hotel is really good, the staff is polite, helpful. Check-in is at 12 noon, but we arrived early in the morning and were seated without objection. Lunches are very tasty, but the breakfasts are definitely not a buffet. The territory of the hotel is clean, well-groomed, but the streets are dirty. The park is just awful! We didn’t go on an excursion to the Gegsky waterfall, the collection is not small, but nothing is done on the territory for this money. The same dirt as everywhere else. But in general we liked it. Nature is amazing. In the evening we went to dinner at a cafe located on the seashore "Rusalka". Very friendly waiters and delicious food. Although. for the money that we spent on vacation in Abkhazia, you can go to a more comfortable resort. But if someone decides to go to Abkhazia, go without hesitation, see for yourself in everything, and only to the Raida Hotel.
