Immediately after the New Year holidays we went to Gagra. At this time, not crowded, warm enough... in general, there is everything for a good rest. Of course it's cold to swim, the sea is only +8. Although my friend was swimming : )
At that time, little of the hotels worked, from what was liked by the sled, value for money. In winter, only the 1st building, a 2-storey building, works. Good repair, new plumbing, double-glazed windows, a huge loggia, air conditioning, mini-bar (empty), tv. The boarding house itself is located on the 1st coast. I can’t say anything about the quality of food, because the dining room is closed during the off-season. There is a Patsha (Abkhaz cuisine) on the territory, but it also did not work)))
The hostel itself is conveniently located, for me personally. The most beautiful part of the city is undoubtedly Old Gagra, which is exactly where it is located. but it’s not far from New Gagra, and there life is basically in full swing.
The only negative of the boarding house is that the administrators close the building at 00.00, and then you won’t get them.
The territory is quite green, large.
The holiday was a success, we were not disappointed.
