On May 1, there was no water in Gagra. The owner of the hotel drove a fire truck and filled the water tank (apparently, accidents with the water supply in Gagra are a common thing, so many hotels have a tank for water). There was enough water for an hour. In general, we settled in the room. Since it was already late, we decided to have dinner right on the balcony of the room. They went to sleep. The door to the room was locked from the inside with a key. The balcony door was left open. We did not leave the room at night. In the morning I didn’t find my bag with all the documents (passports, car docks) and money!!! ! The bag was on the nightstand next to my bed. Also missing was a camera and a folding knife. The camera was in a travel bag, which was in the opposite corner of the room. . They raised a fuss, the sleepy owners were in no hurry to call the police. After 30 minutes, our bag was found in the next room, where, by the way, one of the co-owners of the hotel lived. The documents were in place, the Abkhazian Robin Hood took the money as a keepsake. They even left bank cards (there are no ATMs in Abkhazia), and a camera case. On the same night, another room in this hotel was robbed right above our -402. They also took away a bag with money and documents. The documents were found in the courtyard of the hotel. The police were called to dinner. But no one questioned us and the room was not examined.
