My husband and I, analyzing the prices for holidays in Abkhazia, turned to a travel agency. A very kind manager girl picked up tours for us for the dates of interest from 11.06. 18 to 21.06. 18. We chose a tour with a departure from Moscow, because it was several thousand cheaper than from St. Petersburg. For two, the ticket cost about 26.000 rubles. After confirming the booking, we went for printed documents. We got to Moscow by train, and then went to the Vnukovo airport. Flight "Moscow a-Sochi" airlines "Rossiya" took off on schedule. The plane was decorated with the symbols of the Amur Tiger Protection Fund and was a "tigrolet". Upon arrival, after receiving the luggage, we were directed from the counter of the tour operator "Biblio-Globus" to the representatives of the transfer company "Garuda-express". When the group was assembled, we were seated on minibuses and taken to the border. The border crossing between Sochi and Psou runs along the river. Everywhere locals sell cherries, strawberries, peaches, etc. , fry kebabs, sell cheeses, spices, honey, herbs, nuts, dried fruits. Many small cafes, canteens, shops. Currency: rubles, no passport required. Prices are slightly lower than in Russia. The beach is pebbly. In the room: air conditioning, small plasma, shower, toilet, internet, refrigerator. In Abkhazia, luxurious nature: a clean, transparent Black Sea, fluffy mountains of the Caucasian ridge green from boxwood pines, evergreen oleanders, cactus palm trees, everything blooms and smells sweet. The service is also at the level and is focused on the Russian tourist. The only negatives: very good audibility in hotels, because it's warm and the walls are thin. Cows and dogs walk near the beach and relieve their needs there, and on the way back we were rescheduled for the flight 9 hours ahead, in connection with which we had to reissue railway tickets, but we rested 9 hours more : -). In general, the impressions are extremely positive. For those who are planning an economy vacation - a super option. The rest was pleasantly surprised, I liked it more than in Turkey, I recommend it.
